Does anyone know of a good dictionary of gods, goddesses, mystical creatures, etc?

I can only seem to find ones that concentrate on a certain religion...

I would like to find a pan-theistic one...

I have a book by Arthur Cotterell and Rachel Storm called the The Ultimitate Encyclopedia of Mythology. It's a good source if you want to know about deities from around the world.

I love pantheon.org. If you look at the stuck thread in this forum, the portal of the God and Goddess section, there is a thread in there on great internet sources for all the deities. You should check it out. There are some good links there.

www.godchecker.com is another good one. It doesn't have every deity, but it has quite a few, including North and South American gods.

I use "The Witches God" and "The Witches Goddess" by Janet and Stewart Farrar and rarely do I ever find that something I need isn't in there.

There are a few more books and websites mentioned in the thread at http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?t=75891 which are what you're looking for.

(Don't be afraid to use the "Search" feature here at MysticWicks. Sometimes you'll find helpful things hidden away in other threads -- search with the keywords you think might turn up what you're looking for.)
