Trying not to freak out. We have someone working on the bathroom floor. OY!
The gentleman doing the work has 4 grandchildren the live up the street so far all but 2 of the whole family has been here. I'm just nervous and really wish I had my bathroom back. I know it's going to be great once it's finished but ARGH. I am still in work clothes and my kiddo is sleeping on the couch because it's kinda loud. The man is not charging tons and that's great, I just want it to be ending soon. I worry about the money and all that stuff. My soulmate is doing well to keep him going and making sure I'm okay. I thankfully took a shower this morning. Hoping not too many days of this to go.

We had to get it replaced because last year we had a major pipe burst/frozen pipes and water damage to the floor and underneath.

I'm just used to having my evenings be quiet and not much going on. Relaxation and I'm trying really HARD to just let it flow n go you know?

ARGH, I say! ARGH.

I know I'm being a big whiner. :geez:

:hugz: to you and sympathy too. You poor thing, I'm sure it wont be much longer. Try a camomile tea for your nerves maybe? Feel free to complain luv, we have freedom of speech, and at this place there will always be a few that will care enough to listen and sympathise. I'd offer for you to come over, but by the time you got down my end of the world your renovations would be finished lol :)
Chin up luv

EDITED: Sorry! I need to say thank you! Thank you :)
LOL That made me laugh. I know a few people in Australia myself. My mom used to be a real estate agent to the Austrailian embassy in D.C. :cap:

Yay. He's finally finished for the night. Put back the old toilet and is going to be laying the subflooring tomorrow. PHEW. I am SO hoping this is going to be over soon.

I know how difficult it can be to deal with upheaval, even when it's for a good reason! I'm sending you energy to be strong and refrain from :aburst:.

Yay to having your potty back! You know you can vent to us! That's what we're here for!

Thank you all!

I didn't explode. I just stayed here the whole time! Concentrating on sending energies to those that needed it. I just got a bit TESTY after 7 pm. He's a good worker and a nice guy. I just don't like upheaval. Thank goodness I'm outgoing or I would turn into a hermit, I'm sure!

That would really bug me. I don't blame you for being stressed out about this. It's just one of those things that you've gotta get through I guess. Like going to the dentist. I agree though that you should vent about it. you've gotta let that stuff out, and yeah that's what we're here for.

Day 2 :

It started late. When I got home, he had JUST come here. So we're without water or a potty for well a while until he puts in the new toilet. Although he said he started at noon - I got home at 2:45 so I am just trying to keep it together. I just want this to be finished! OY! It's supposedly going to snow tonight too.

BLAH!!!!!!!
