Ok...
I admit it.
I am weird.
Sometimes I freak people out. Nothing too dramatic, or tramatic, though.
What about you? Are you weird, feel weird or had any eerie expeirences?
I've had alot.
The most recent happened a couple months ago. I was trying to do some paranormal... sort of looking into stuff about mysticism, y'know the weird stuff... and I was reading something-
I got a call on my Callwave- internet answering system- and it was pan flute music. 60 secs of it. It probably would've gone longer if it was a mess system. I looked at the ID and it was made from a local research department... I tried the number, and it called some type of thingy where I'd have to put an extension in.
I figured, well... maybe it is a sign I was on the right path- or a message from the other side. Hmmm.
Ps- I still have this file saved. If anyone wants to hear it you can PM me. If anyone knows anything about this music...

as for eerie stuff happening to me hrmmmmmmm let me think..... ok the eeriest thing that happens is all my emectrical equiptment turns itself on and off on its own.. its done thing for many years now and in every place i have ever lived.. at first i thought it may have been the wiring but it happens everywhere so itcant be that.. it freaks other ppl out but i'm used to it now.. the other thing that happenes is that light bulbs blow alot when i'm in a room.. every light that has blown in our house has been when ive turned it on or walked into the room.. it never happens to anyone else in the house.. not so much eerie but strange i guess..

I am definately weird. Laurence (my coworker) says I'm weird, no question about it. Everyone thinks I'm weird, although I do encourage that a little, and did as a child.
I used to pretend I was a witch at school because My eyes were two different colours. One blue and one green, on day everyone started calling me a witch. I was delighted and went with it. I moved around a lot as a kid and everywhere I went it seemed to follow (the rep as a witch), I certainly didn't discourage it, but I dont get it often from people now, my eyes have faded to a grey-blue-green and there is a tiny bit of difference between them, but you cant see it unless you are close enought to kiss me now.
Of course, as soon as I open my mouth about anything philosophical or idealistic everyone thinks I'm weird. Aren't we all a bit weird though? If we were all the same or 'normal' life would be so boring, and we wouldn't be talking on this forum ;)

Everybody's weird. It's just that some people are better than hiding it than others... :-D
Anyway. Yes, about once everyday, I am told by SOMEBODY that I am weird. Sometimes it's followed up with dork, nerd, or geek, or what not. But yes, I've been told that I'm weird. I've yet to see the proof to back that up, though. :)

Most of the people I know, even those who like me a lot, have told me that I'm weird and scary. Been like that all my life.
A good example happened a couple months ago. I was helping to open up the energy of a friend and teach her about spiritual matters. As we were walking down the street one night I felt something grip the back of my head. I've always felt like I have a hole in the back of my head, energy-wise. Things, including me, go in and out of this hole. So I felt the grip of some spirit mounting me and started telling her the things that I heard in my head, the things they were telling me to tell her. As I did this, a streetlight started flickering. The more they squeezed my head, the more the light flickered until it finally went out. My friend just stared. When they were done and I felt them release me I said "You can turn the light back on now" and it immediately came back on. My friend screamed and ran away from me for a moment. It was weird and scary and kind of funny. And it's a common occurance for me.

Weird - uhm, definately yes! Been told that all my life. In school there was the 'in' crowd and the 'out' crowd. I fell inbetween, had friends in both crowds, ran with neither crowd. I was quiet, kept to myslf most of the time and horror of horrors - I liked KISS! The little town I grew up in was a mile long by eight blocks wide and had seven churches if that gives you a clue about the spiritual aspects of it. I never fit into any of those churches, was a little contrary about being told what to believe, how to act and how to dress. And I wasn't afraid to speak my mind if pushed to do so.
Now days I walk my own path regardless of whether people call me weird or not. My family has decided as long as I don't preach my beliefs to them they will leave me alone. I only did that because they would preach to me and I got tired of it. I write all the time but refuse to let others read what I write. I listen to whatever music moves me at the time, from classical to death metal. I read all the time about everything under the sun and my Mom actually asked to look at some of my Wicca books because she wanted to learn more about it! I probably don't have anything that is in fashion in my closets or drawers but I dress to make me happy and comfortable.
As far as eerie happenings...well depends on what you believe to be eerie. I've lived in three different houses that had ghosts or spirirts that shared them with me. One was a little girl that fell down the stairs, one was an illegal whiskey runner, and the others were various people that died as a result of cholera. All I researched and verified. I should own stock in Sylvania lightbulb company LOL. When I am stressed out or highly emotional light bulbs don't stand a chance around me. I can't wear battery powered watches and my alarm clock is always losing or gaining time. I am the one that people come to when they lose something because I either tell them where it is or it 'magically' appears when I look for it. And I have the occasional precognitive dream.
All in all though, I 'think' I'm pretty normal...for me LOL.

Oh goddess.. You only have to spend ten minutes in chat with me to figure out if I'm weird or not. I am.. to say the least.
Paranormal occurances? Dunno, I don't pay much attention to ghosts to be honest. They exist or they don't outside of my life circle. My observation skills are poor to say the least. If it's not directly relating to me, I tend to ignore going-ons of the world.

I'm told that I'm beyond weird. Apparently, "frightening" is much closer to describing me. I think it's partly due to my spontaneous mood changes. Oh well. I really don't care. Flee before me. lol

yes I'm weird always have been, I'm sensitive, I'm moody, and I'm funny. I get really weird dreams that freak out other people but seem normal to me. I get precog dreams, and I have a ghost/spirit/fey that follows me around and ties knots in the fringe of my blankets, only the chenille kind, and only on one side, never both. Also I have exceptional hearing and sense of smell, both irritate me to no end because I like being quiet so people being noise in the next room or down the hall or down the block pisses me off. So I get pissed off a lot, but I play music so I don't have to hear anything else, it seems to work ok.

I always wanted to be weird. I am in some ways, since I usually act/dress/talk the way I want and not the way that is "in". Spent a year trying to fit in with the "preppy" crowd, but that didn't work..so just became me. Lost that for a while, but am finally back to being me again. As far as weird things happening or eerie things.... not too often, really. Sometimes I connect with strange stuff right before I fall asleep, and I usually know how people are feeling, even if they hide it. That's about it. I sure wish I would have some eerier (sp?) things happen, because it sounds like fun!

Yep... I was told I was weird as a kid, and weird, now, too! As for lights goin' out...
There was another experience that happened when I was 13... (my lucky number, the age where everything happened) My best friend's uncle just died a few weeks before it happened... me and her was sitting on the couch watching tv... and we started talking about her uncle... the tv turned off... so we asked if he was there... all the lights turned off!! We sat there and screamed...
Her dad walks in from outside and turns the hallway light on... (FLIPS THE SWITCH)... and asks: "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS??" We ran around and flipped all the lights back on.
Eerie??
I used to pretend I was a witch at school because My eyes were two different colours. One blue and one green, on day everyone started calling me a witch. I was delighted and went with it. Cool... I've always wanted two different eye colors! I pretended to be a witch, too. I think I was about 9 when I started it. I don't know where it came from really. Some kind of basic instnct, maybe... yeah... but I did stuff like casting spells and I used to play around with that sort of thing... trying to make things happen. Really, I don't know where it came from... and the weird thing is- I can see my dughter doing stuff like that also... she's only 4! ...and she talks about stuff like... "I need to find my wings, mommy... I lost my wings... There were here on my back..." and she talks about her dreams, and me dying in her dreams, and she talks about trying to make her magic work... freaks me out... really.
ok... so anyways... yeah... my mom used to go out all the time and leave me home alone... so I did something... I took a peice of string and tied it around and over and over something that represented her... and I guess I "binded" her... she was depressed and stayed in her bed for months, and only went out when she had to. (Yeah... and I see my daughter doing that to some of her toys... and the weird thing is- I've been isolating myself!! I never want to go out... ha...)
A good example happened a couple months ago. I was helping to open up the energy of a friend and teach her about spiritual matters. As we were walking down the street one night I felt something grip the back of my head. I've always felt like I have a hole in the back of my head, energy-wise. Ohhh.... Hi Semi!
Lol... I kinda freaked someone out... like that... well, he understood... he was a pegan... so he thought it was cool. But we went out to have a few drinks, and I told him how I could make it rain if I really wanted it to... and we walked outside, and I tripped because of my high heel- and I cursed and said "If it starts downpouring- it'll be my fault!" That instant, it started sprinkling. We ran under some shelter in a parking building thingy... in the middle of downtown where all the hot clubs and bars were... we saw everybody running around as the thunder and lightning struck and the rain immedately POURED after we went in... and soaked everyone who was out. I just smirked and he looked at me like "wow"... and told me how cool that was... and then I told him it would stop soon so we could go on, and with that he said "it's starting to taper off, too!" Which it did.
I can't explain, it... or why it happens like that.
But yeah- I've been feeling that "hole" in the back of my head, too!
I read all the time about everything under the sun and my Mom actually asked to look at some of my Wicca books because she wanted to learn more about it!
Welp... my mom is probably the weirdest. She's crazy. She believes in EVERYTHING. Which is alright for me. I never look down upon any belief... to me, they could all be true.
But I pick up on a bunch of clues and sometimes she mentions stuff... yeah, she TRIED or HAS practiced voodoo, black magic... whatever... she's very spiritual... the collection of nick naks and things is unbelievable. Everything is all dusty, too. Maybe she's a witch... it could run in the family, right? Do some witches collect weird things and leave 'em around to collect dust?? I thought I saw some TV witches with houses like that. Lol...
All in all though, I 'think' I'm pretty normal...for me LOL.
Yes! My mom always asks me for advice when she meets someone... I could always tell her the truth about them and I'd be absolutely right... and whenever she loses stuff, too! I have to tell her here it is.
I've had so many weird experiences... I really don't know where to begin... but I am determined to post them ALL in this thread, sooner or later. So... for any one else that wants to post anything weird or crazy... or things that you fear no one will believe... not to worry. I will believe you, because I've had really weird and eerie things happened to me... and I have an open mind and open heart. Don't be afraid!! Really!! Trust me!!

I used to hate being 'diffternet' form everyone else now I love it! Now I feel like I have a secert and no one else knows! :cutie: I do do wierd things it's like I get board only I'm not board! I ramble on in my head I get myself confused too, like one time I thought You know, if you go west far enough, than your east, and when you go south far enough your not your in the north! So there is really no such thing as east west south and north! See what I mean?! And then there is the counting, sometimes I count how many steps it takes to get from my room to my car..........wierd I know! Than I'm always thinking, more like day dreaming, and using my imagenation, I talk to myself and the animals all the time. Yet I like to be alone most of the time, and music! OMG! Lets not get into that! I like to take the soundtracks and make my own stories out of them, right now I'm liestening to Harry Potter! I think I am one of the only people who think too much and always gets the green light!

Opps I forgot the eerie things! Well lets see, theres the time I kinda made myself invisable, and I have my own laungue when I was younger I would say "Mummie! Look at the horses Lipanzens!" Lipanzens are the hoofs of the horse, she looked at me as if I were crazy but I knew that is there name! And I would tell my mom how I choose her to be my mom. And my un-nautral reflexes, and my car starting only for me and me always getting FREE good horses, and yes I have mad it rain too. How I can chase people away using my mind ect.

Lol!! That is soo cool! We should start a cool, weird club!!
I know what you mean about thinking about stuff like that north and south thing!! It makes perfect sense, too! Yeah like, if you add two odd numbers you get an even number, EVERY TIME... that kind of stuff. I used to count, too!! I even tried to never step on ANY cracks!
I'm always out in my own world, too. That's why I love my job. I'm alaways doing the same thing over and over so it's okay to space completely out and daydream. I daydream the whole time, exept when I reall have to think, then I go back to my daydreaming.
Someone once called me a "space cadet" at work, because of it. Which pissed me off, because I'm not spacing out like I'm mental. I'm DAYDREAMING. Big difference there.

I think I am one of the only people who think too much and always gets the green light!
i always get a green light if i want it. and i have a tendency to shoo cars along when they're too slow. i just hold up my hand and swat at them and they go faster! lmao and i blow out street lamps when i have too much energy in me. i talk to animals all the time, and they listen, especially my cats. i have impecibly good timing, i can't help but make these high pitched squealing sounds when i stretch, i can twitch my ears(which are slightly pointed, btw. ask my mom, seriously. she calls me her little elf) and my nose. don't even get me started on my esp, my whole family has it. i can't be around them at all without screaming, "get out of my head!" and the same for them, too.
other really off things that i can't think of right now because i just woke up...
[edit] when i don't want to be seen, you won't see me. well, you'll see me out of the corner of your eye, but you won't either recognize me at all, or not aknowledge me at all.

*sigh* I thought this thread was more about us than the actual paranormal...
But it's okay, it's a good place to be.
I'm going to start a group... like a club in this thread, for anyone who's experienced the eerie and would like to share. Or if you were ever called "weird" or whatever. Anyone care to join?
I'm going to put this thread in my signature... already did... but I will call it "The Weird and Eerie Gathering" !

Katya made a great button for our group. You can go to "The Weird and Eerie Club" in the silly forum to get it or PM me or Katya and we'll help you with it.
I hope those of you which were once weary to talk about your experiences will not be weary here.
There is something strange in the midst of our now excistance and I don't know why it is happening, but I haven't lied or made up anything... it is real.
So... come forth!!
And Gather here!
Be Silly there! (In our Club) :)
Thank you all.

Well,
I'm here to share my stories. Whether you believe them or not... it's up to you.
But they are real. I was once told anything can be real if you percieve it to be real... because everything has to be preceived in order for it to be real.
It almost feels like there are 5 sides... weirdly enough- does a pentagon or whatever it is has 5 sides or points?
Anyway, I don't know what it means... But I'm here to hopefully use this thread to explore and try to understand it... meet others like me... and I know you're out there!
I think the 5 sides are: empathy, telepathy, dreams, prediction/visions, out of body/ spiritual being and communicating.
I don't know... can anyone think of more? The ones I slashed are because they have a connection to the other... almost the same thing.

Heres some of the stuff thats happened to me :
When I was very young, about 2 years old, I came down with a case of measles, I had a very high fever and I almost died. One morning while I was there I saw myself lying there and the nurse came in to open the venetian blinds, I was floating near the ceiling looking down at myself and the nurse.
I saw ghosts and spirits since that day, til my great aunt gave me this pouch . It was a pouch made out of red cloth and sew with golden thread, inside were herbs and other stuff to keep the spirits away. I could still sense them but after that they kept their distance.
I stopped wearing this thing after I started first grade, and I had totally forgotten about the ghosts. One day in the study I saw a blue glow where the head should be on this santa ornament I was holding and it talked to me.
It was at that time that we were moving to a new place, a day before I moved I dreamed about this strange looking kid. When we got to the new place, the strange kid turned out to be our neighbor.
I moved to the states when I was 10 years old. One day during class the teacher wanted to show everyone that guessing was not a good way to take a test. She told everyone to number 1-10 and then just guess true or false for each one.
I got 8 out of 10 right. Teacher said it was just a fluke.
I always seem to guess numbers right, one day during algebra class, I raised my hand to go to the bathroom and teacher thought I was answering the question. I wanted to go bad so I just guessed. I was right teacher asked me to explain how I did it, I said "No I just guessed, can I go to the bathroom?"
Ever since I turned adult I rarely had any super weird experiences. I have only saw a ghost once more and it was a brief coelescence of mist of sorts inside my apartment. The typical really cold all of a sudden and then warm again.
As for other stuff, I had this connection with my ex-gf where I could feel her thoughts and feelings even though I was 2000 miles away.
I've had dreams about the space shuttle going up in flames before both challenger and columbia.
There was the dream about the 9 moons in the sky and the earth cracking that could be related to the 9.0 earthquake/tsunami we just had.
I had some experiences going into another altered reality that could be astral travel/projection or something else.
Vivid dreams are a commonplace for me. They can get so real that I have been lost in it at times.
I am very good at visualization sometimes, I used to have a photographic memory when I was young. However nowadays my memory is getting worse and worse.
