Chance of a lifetime...

I am STOKED! I'm taking advantage of the opportunity of a lifetime. I met and have been talking with a guy in Australia (I'm in New York). I always said if there was one place I ever wanted to see before I die it's Australia....My friend and I just booked a flight in December to spend New Years on the complete other side of the world!!! I almost can't believe how crazy it is...but I'm 26 and I only live once! Any of you from Australia and have any tips or advise for a crazy American? WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! I can't even wait!

Bloke: Male, generally someone you dont know "See that bloke over there....hes a tool"
Hmmmmm most of our slang is 18+ :D so I cant post it.

Oh and we dont "Throw shrimp on the barbie" Its prawns...and they dont go on the bbq either. We pour beer on our meat from the bbq as "marinade" (cant spell).

Best advise I can give..........you will need to learn how to drink your weight in alcohol LOL

I would love to go to Australia, good for you :) Although with all thats going on lately I don't think I'd want to be on a plane either! But I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. I'd also love to go to Spain. Have fun in Australia.
