Malachi Wesley came into the world on Friday, 9/7/01 at 11:45PST. 6lbs 7.4 oz. 18 1/2" long. I was Erin's birth coach and cut the cord. They came home from the hospital Sunday afternoon, and both are doing well:)

I wasn't here much over the weekend:) Friday was a 26 hours between sleep day! Will tell her, they're both asleep right now:)

Hey y'all! Wow, I've been busy! :p It was sure worth the wait though. My baby boy is beautiful!!!! :D I'll put pics up when they are developed. I have to show him off so everyone can see just how precious he is. :) Dad, E_P, was an awesome birth coach and that epidural sure made the time fly. It feels good to be able to touch my toes again.

Okay....now I REALLY feel stoopid...I just saw Malachi's page (and by the way, what a beautiful creature he is!!!) and it just dawned on me that EP is C_A's FATHER....DUH!!!

An for Semele:

The birth center, Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women, is a very unique hospital. It is one of only a few in the US that is dedicated to serving women, literally cradle to grave. Any and all services are included. For births, they embrace the LDR concept of a birthing room, and they are very nice, much like an upscale hotel room..oak floors, furniture, etc...
