Is anyone here familiar with this deck? The cards I've seen are gorgeous, but I can't tell from a few examples whether or not it would be possible to read with them...

I am sure anything is possible. May be a little different than "standard" decks but I am sure you could learn to be proficient with them. Let us know if you find a deck.

I'm ordering these today! <does a happy dance!!!!!!!> They look sooooooooooo beautiful and whimsy (http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/innerchild/index.html) and just right up my ally. :D:D They even have an Alice in Wonderland card, and Alice is my favorite!
I'm very excited, in case you couldn't tell. :)
Anyway, Ari, I'll let you know how they're working once I receive them. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Oooo I love the rainbow, butterfly and heart one!! :D
I can only just make out the names of the cards ~ Alice in Wonderland, Snow White! Ace of Hearts, Ace of Crystals so they will probally need allot of tunning into them.. but they look very exciting and I imagine easy to read once you know all the cards :)

My cards just arrived today. :D:D:D I've been putting off opening them, trying to savor the moment and all. :D So I've been staring at the box, stalling and stalling and stalling...
Just wanted to share the good news though. :D

I opened them.
WOW. WOW WOW WOW.
Firstly, these cards are unbelievably gorgeous. The pictures sooo do NOT do them justice. They're whimsy and colorful and vibrant. They're also HUGE-- I have trouble shuffling my Elemental, and these babies are even BIGGER.
They're also really sturdy, and glazed to make them shiny, but not annoyingly so-- almost like matte lip gloss?
The major arcana are depicted by various faery tales and characters, with The Devil being The Big Bad Wolf. :D The World card is something new-- called "Earth Child," showing an infant and a world in a night sky.
The minor arcana aren't major faery tales, but they're beautiful nonetheless, with pictures of woods and faeries and butterflies-- utterly gorgeous.
It comes with a nice thick almost 300-page book, explaining why certain faery tales were picked for certain cards, and giving the background on the tales, which is great, because some (Little Red Cap, for one) I had never heard of.
The book also gives some great new spreads that I've never seen before, and I'm gonng love sharing them once I get through the book and cards. :) I've only gotten through part of the deck so far.
I cannot stress enough how happy I am with these, even pre-readings. The pictures speak a thousand words and bring back memories, and the only problems I'm seeing is that I'm afraid to touch them, for fear of messing them up, :) and they barely fit in the only Tarot bag I have. They absolutely refused to go back into the box they came with once I'd taken them out. :D:D
Anyway, so that was my review for anyone thinking of buying them. :) I think they're great for children and adults alike, and definitely worth it. :D

Too many posts in a row, I know. :D Sorry.
I'm through half of the book or so, and I just wanted to add that in addition, these cards are very Pagan in nature. The book references various Goddesses, chakras, etc. that pertain to certain faery tales. The Six of Wands even depicts small children winding a May Pole! :):):)

You betcha Semele! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
The funny thing about them is that as I was going through them, trying to place each card to its original, I just kinda knew that Alice in Wonderland was The Wheel, AND it says that card's ruled by Jupiter, and I'm a Sagittarius, so I'm ruled by Jupiter too! :D It was a little thing, but it was very exciting to me. :D:D:D
