For me it's the 10 of wands. I did two readings tonight and it came up both times. Then I pop in here and I see Jackiedanielz's request for help and BAM! the 10 of wands is back. I can never really seem to apply this card to any reading I do.
What other cards give you all problems? It seems like a lot of people have trouble with the court cards, which I can certainly understand, but does anyone have a card that just makes them cringe when they see it come up in a reading?

At one time the card use to be 7 of Swords. Always, but I've worked through it.
Now it is the 10 of Pentacles. I never know if it family, family inheritance, family falling into place,
nothing to do with family but money, it goes on and on and on.
10 of Wands I heard a country song last week and it reminded me of this card.
" God doesn't give us mountains that we cannot climb". So I was thinking we are near the top
of the mountain and it's all down hill from then on. Energy moves faster on the down swing!

Any court card! I have no idea what they mean as situations and reading them as people doesn't seem to ever fit the question I'm asking.

The Queen of Swords and the Tower. When the former appears, I have some sort of emotional problem and when it's the latter, my world seems to fall apart.

Hey, just a thought, since I am guessing you use the Rider Waite? But in my deck, The Witches Tarot, by Ellen Cannon Reed, 10's are GREAT cards, it is based on the Qabalah (Tree of Life) and 10s are all about manifestation...so in this deck the 10 of Wands would mean that that which your mind has built will come to pass...there are other such decks that see the lower arcana as more of a journey, of steps from aces to 10s on a path...which you might enjoy.

I have the AC Thoth deck, and the 2 of disks gives me fits. It had great personal meaning for AC, and whenever it comes up, I can't get what he wrote about that card out of my head! It tends to block things for me.

Well depends on what you mean by hate LOL I have trouble interpreting most Court cards and am still working on feeling at ease with some of the 7's!
As far as cards I hate to get in a reading..... the 5 of Cups is not so nice and at one point I was getting the 9 of Swords frequently. The King of Swords shows up a lot! Not too sure what that means.... he gives me the creeps sometimes LOL
I also got the 10 of Wands for a while a few months ago and now have a good handle on it. For me it means burden, stress, carrying more than is acceptable or comfortable and feeling it! Because Wand energy is so strong by the time it gets to the end of suit it is overloaded.
