Herbal Garden Pest Control
2 teaspoons crushed dried or fresh cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon crushed wormwood
Bring 4 cups water to a boil.
Remove from heat, add the two herbs.
Steep 10 to 15 minutes.
Strain, place liquid in a spray bottle, and use to spray your garden plants to keep pests away. Remember to label the bottle to avoid accidents, and keep out of the reach of children.

And this concoction will keep cats from using your garden as a litter box too. :D

Is this safe for ALL plants?
Also, someone asked about spider mites recently. Would this help?

so far my herbs have survived the spray without incident and no spider mites to speak of, but not certain if that is due to the spray exactly....

What about ants.
I have planted chamomile a few times but their roots keep on being destroyed by the ants.:(
Will this spray deter ants without harming them?

I had that problem with my chamomile last year. Between the grubs & ants, I had 2 plants left. I used diluted neem oil & it worked.

I had lots of herbs growing nicely.. thyme, sage, lavendar, etc.. but there were these itty bitty tiny white bugs that killed them all! Even the thyme that sprouted in 3 days died...
What were those little bugs? And would this spray work on them? Does the wormwood have to be fresh, or can it be dried?
