I was wondering if someone could give me a general explaination of the MW Circle of Teaching. Like do you have to sign up for a class? If you do, do you have to participate in all the lessons? Are there timelimits? Etc, etc, etc. Basically just how it works.

Thanks in advance!

Yes you do have to sighn up for classes you can contact the teacher of the course if you want to find out if you can still join or when the next class will start.

Yes you do need to particpate in the lessons and assignemnts or what is the point in sighning up. you can just read the lessons and not be sighned up to though.

Yes there is time lines for most classes but it varies, once again you have to check with the teacher of the particular course your itnerested in.

Hope that helps answers your questions.

Yes, of course I understand that you have to participat in the lessons, but what I asked was do you have to participate in them ALL? I mean, what if you sign up for a class and then somewhere midway you get swamped in homework or you go on vacation or something else which takes away the time you would have spent with the assignment? Are you no longer allowed to participate in the class if that happenes?

Are you no longer allowed to participate in the class if that happenes? If something takes you away from the class so a- you cannot finish it or b- you have to leave for other reason you just let the teacher know what is going on and that is that. If you can catch up on the assignments when you get back from say your vaction and the class is still going yes then you can still particiapte.

However this is just my view in certain aspects right now I am easy going, some of the other teachers may have different rules, or opinions when it comes to their classes though.

I pretty much feel the same as bran. I teach the Kitchen Witch class at C0T. For me, the most important part of the class is the discussion and interaction. If "real life" gets in the way, I have had people pm me and say they needed either some 'time off" or needed to drop out of the class. Not a problem for me either way. I run the class to help other people explore a path that is very personal and fluid. It is up to them to really develop the rest of it on theor own.
In my class I am not big on time lines. As the teacher who has had to take a ton of breaks b/c of real life crap, I have to - for my sake as well os for the students. i told one student if they finished the class a year from now that was all ok with me.

However, I am like Bran- other teachers might have to keep their course closer on track.

Best thing to do is pm the teacher(s) of the courses you are interested in. :)
