his ISP is acting up -- he can read posts through his son's computer and ISP, but it won't let him post replies. he'll be back as soon as he gets his own ISP knocked back into line.

in the meantime, i wish to express my deepest, deepest condolences on the atrocity that has struck the U.S. i've been watching the news since 8:50 yesterday morning, and i'm no closer to making any sense of it now than i was then.

Thanks for the note, threenorns. I hope gunner can be back on active duty soon.

We are all reeling from these events. :ugh: It's just not possible to make complete sense of them now.

Blessed Be to you and gunner,

"I hope you didn't have any family in all this mess. . "

thanks for your concern puma and all, we're well off the bullseye this time thank mithras, and i've got my own little infantry fire team in house. my tribe would be a tough nut to crack, we're a company level tactical problem at the least.

*snaps to attention and salutes...Canadian style*

How's it going, Corp'rul? Good to have you back, eh?!

*ducks as she realizes that she single-handedly threw Canada as a whole into yet another stereotype ....sorry*

nothing wrong with that salute!

thought it was rather a fine one, eh?

i know how to do that british/canadian salute too, i've got an old friend that's up for a canadian regiment when the present c.o. retires, we used to party together back when he was a captain. one of our running jokes was when i'd come to full "double stamp" and palm out salute and "sir!, permission to get blind staggering drunk, sir!" "carry on corporal", "thank you SIR!"

...(heeheehee)

there's a box in the mail -- i sent it this morning and it should be on the truck soon.

do me a favour: phone me BEFORE you open it, okay?

(heeheehee)

by the way: did i give you the link to my World Trade memorial page?

it's www.threenorns.co.uk/WTCmemorial/index.html -- i've added the links to the barracks front page.
