I am new to this path and have some questions. I am not looking for a teacher, just sharing of ideas and I hope to meet others of like religion/spirituality.
I believe in the trinity, but also in the spirit that is in all nature, animals and humans. I believe there is energy there we can move.
I would like to know how others may pray or do a ritual.
Do you cast spells and/or meditate?
What are your Christian beliefs?
What do you see as your "witchyness"? (couldn't think of a different word, sorry)
Do people notice that you have changed from what you used to be?
Thats some of my questions, how about others posting some of their own :D

Many Christian witches practice many different things, but here is my practices as a solitary:
I believe in the trinity, but also in the spirit that is in all nature, animals and humans. I believe there is energy there we can move.
My answer: I beleive in a triune Diety also, and that this includes the Father, the Mother (known in fundamentalist circles in one of her parts, the Holy Spirit), and the Messiah. I believe 1) the Messiah came here to show us how to act in accordance to what is good (which only the Creator/Creatrix of all would know what is good and evil), 2) that he was both God and Goddess incarnate (I believe that they are seperate but equal aspects of one Diety in a way we as humans are incapable of understanding yet), 3) because of the Judaic instructions on sacrifice to reconcile one's imperfect self with the perfect Diety, that he died as the ultimate sacrifice, and that couldn't be done by someone who was just a human (Divine incarnate), and 4) the sacrifice was made for ALL of mankind who holds the love of Christ in their hearts, even if they don't know who he was, don't worship/admire him, never heard of him, whatever.
I also believe that the spirtual energy used in Creation still resides in Creation, and that is what most magick users that don't directly use entities of some sort use when they cast spells. I also think it is this exact same energy martial artists use (Chi, Ki). I believe this energy is a way for us to connect with the very act of Creating by the Divine and that the energy was left here rather than reabsorbed into the Divine so we could use it. I beleive this energy came from the Creatrix and was used by the Creator (because of some things I read in the Book of Wisdom, which isn't in most Bibles) to create all.
I would like to know how others may pray or do a ritual.
I pray under my breath, almost never ceasing, kind of like fundamentalists are supposed to do. When I do ritual, I use a general Wiccan type of circle ritual to celebrate the seasons, to celebrate Christian holidays (though Christmas is being somewhat substituted for Yule because I don't believe Christ was born in the winter), and for specific spell purposes. I celebrate Communion during these times (again, as a solitary), and include symbols for the God, the Goddess, and the Messiah on my altar. Then again, my altar is still evolving, too, as I learn more about spellwork and how certain items and practices are useful. I do add prayer to my spellwork that if my work is going against Divine will (I'd kind of think that the Creator of all would kind of know better than I what is good and what is bad), that my work will be negated by the Divine. I do not ask that MY will be done.
When I call the elements/quarters, I include Christian references to the elements. I call upon the Earth, from dust we are made and to dust we will return; Air, of the breath of live that was breathed into us at Creation; Fire, the cleansing and healing of Holy fire; and Water, the water we are baptised with in the name of the Christ. Many Christian witches call upon the 4 Archangels instead as quarters, but after invoking the elements, I ask that any angels, and any others in Creation, that wish to participate in worship of the Lord and Lady with me to celebrate with me as fellow followers of the Divine, then I close the circle, and "do my thing".
Do you cast spells and/or meditate?
I haven't really cast spells yet (at least not ritually), but I do crystal work (I'm a very Earth-element person), I use herbs, especially for incense (never mind that my Samhain incense "smelled like Christmas", LOL), and I always include silent prayer and meditation at some point in my worship/spellwork.
What are your Christian beliefs?
See above. On top of that, I also believe that the Gospels are more accurate than anything Paul wrote, that Paul either couldn't shed the Pharasee in him when he wrote what he did or someone else wrote it. I believe Jesus/Yeshua was God/dess incarnate, and therefore Divine, showing a servant's love for his Creations and committing the ultimate sacrifice of love, which is to lower himself to our level as human beings and allow himself to be the sacrifice to end all sacrifices to him, and that this act was supposed to end bloodshed unto God/dess for any and all reasons (not that imperfect humans follow this...). I believe in the miracles he performed.
What do you see as your "witchyness"? (couldn't think of a different word, sorry)
My respect for nature as fellow Creation. My circle and spell thing. My willingness to literally see God/dess' hand in everything and, therefore, the Divine in everyone. My connection to the Divine being better when I am around things He/She created more than around what man created. I am sick of the fundamentalism turning people away from the beauty Christ showed.
Do people notice that you have changed from what you used to be?
Not really. Then again, I've always been this way, but only in the past year have I been willing to admit it and explore my spirituality as a free spirit. My fiancee notices, but then he also lives with me and sees the sage, pentacle, and other "witchy" stuff and my attitudes towards the Divine. Everyone else swears I'm still Christian in their way.

Thank you so much for your wonderfully detailed reply. It has been very enlightening and helpful. I do not steal ideas, but reading about other people has and is helping me form my own opinions and ideas. Everyone has a different view and it is helpful to see others perspectives.

Blessings Damia,
I believe in the trinity, but also in the spirit that is in all nature, animals and humans. I believe there is energy there we can move.
I don't believe in the trinity, I also don't believe in concepts of God and Goddess, partly why I choose the term Godde.
I believe that Godde, the Ultimate Divine, is beyond human concepts of gender, and not confined to three.
I believe energy is as tangible as air; you can't see it but it effects everything and can be gentle as well as destructive; it simply is.
I would like to know how others may pray or do a ritual.
Prayer to me is communing with Godde and I do this both formally and informally. Meaning I may sit with a deep focus and intent, like meditating, or chat away to my Creator while making dinner.
Ritual is something that I am not too focused on. For me, it is mostly for special occasions or important spellwork.
What I choose in ritual is based upon astrological alignments, herb knowledge, colour psychology and such other studies.
Do you cast spells and/or meditate?
I meditate in as much as my prayer time can be deeply focused, but in the strict sense of the word, no. I do Tai Chi, I am a person that likes activity.
I do occasional spellwork but I believe that magic is part of my most mundane of tasks and cannot be separated from me. But this is a large topic.
What are your Christian beliefs?
In one paragraph!? lol
Godde is beyond our comprehension but never beyond a relationship. Christ was Godde's appointed son.
We ALL have the divine spark within us.
I do not believe in the eternal torture doctrine.
I believe the Bible is an amazing divine work that is open to those that are willing to listen. I believe it is part historical document, part instruction, part philosophical, totally socially/culturally based. I believe that some portions are more valid than others, such as Mark's gospel over the other 3.
I believe that personal relationship with Godde is the goal. So this means that individual interpretation is valid.
What do you see as your "witchyness"? (couldn't think of a different word, sorry)
That's a fine word. :)
I am a witch because I have no disconnection from nature. I not only respect and admire Godde's creation, but I use her. For me, the concept of worshipping nature is unwitchy, because worship implies some disconnection. I smell the coming rain and am affected by moon phases, I revel in herbs and planetary meanings, I connect with people's emotions and thoughts, I feel residual energies, I see magic in a peppercorn and mold, I feel most sane in a forest/beach/mountain...
Do people notice that you have changed from what you used to be?
I don't believe that a person chooses being a witch, although you can choose witchcraft. I believe that a witch is simply who you happen to be, with or without the label. This is because witch isn't a religion, it's a way of being. I believe that one recognises themselves as a witch and then chooses the 'path' for education.
I think that if you are more content in your spirituality that you will very likely give off a different aura/energy, so that other people will see you differently.

As you can tell I am not very good at expressing my thought and feelings. My concept of the trinity may offend some, but here goes. I believe in God and Jesus, to me the Holy Ghost is the spirit in all human kind and nature. I realize this is a different view and I cannot defend it, but it is how I see it.
Thank you for your thoughts. I have almost finished reading your site and I am very impressed.
I hope you don't mind, I would like to recommend it to others here as well as some friends of mine.

I believe that any concept needs individual expression. For instance, 'believing in the trinity' means different things to different people. Your idea of a trinity is more acceptable to me than god-goddess-jesus or god-goddess-anything trinity.
I have given the multiplicity of Godde much contemplation, and, for me, 'trinity' still confines, but that's me. I embrace all expressions.
I do have an article in the wings about this, but it's so complex, and I'm trying to simplify it, so it's taking me longer than I thought.
I'm glad you have found something useful in my site.
be blessed

Actually, Aine is no longer with us. However her class is still great, she just won't be able to answer questions.
