Are you guys as busy as me? Everyone wants to see your kids? Getting invited to parties? Celebrating multiple holidays? And Goddess forbid flying across the country?

Share it here!

I am going to a Solstice ritual on Saturday. This is a smaller one hosted by a local Circle. On Tuesday my husband, son, and I will celebrate the Solstice and open gifts. Later that night DH is hosting a large public Solstice celebration.

Xmas eve we are spending with my Mom, aunt, my sister and her kids. It's also my step Moms birthday.

Xmas day we are traveling an hour away to my in laws then driving back in the early evening for Xmas dinner at my Dad's house.

Luckily the office Holiday party isn't until January! :bouncybob

I've got two sick kiddos. :( If they are feeling better by Sunday my mom's family is having a Christmas party. My husband, BIL, and I are doing a Yule ritual (perhaps with our daughter also) on Yule, then we're headed to my mom's house the night of Christmas Eve and spending Christmas day at her house. This should be fun, as she's cooking a massive feast.

If my babies aren't better we're staying home.

This week we'll be wrapping up the last of the shopping. Christmas Eve, my hubbie and I have a special place we go each year to dinner. The children go with their Dad for a Christmas Eve thing at his families house. Then they come home, we bundle up in our pj's, grab some hot cocoa and drive around looking at Christmas lights. Christmas day is packed with multiple family gatherings until we pass out from exhaustion.

I have two that are still in school until Wednesday. Then, we will go to my mother-in-law's house for Christmas eve, celebrating Yule with the children, and then I have a birthday two days after Christmas. My sister, whose birthday it is, gets upset if you try to get one big present for both. She would much rather have two little ones, not that I blame her. But, that is what we are doing.

Well, this weekend I'll be finishing my shopping and wrapping presents. On Thursday I'm driving to my parents.... Christmas eve is traditionally a family movie night, and Christmas day we open presents and have Christmas dinner. That's it for me. ;)

I've got school till Thursday, but I am celebrating Yule by myself on Tuesday. Then Saturday I open gifts with my mom in the morning, my dad in the afternoon, and my grandparents/aunts/uncles in the evening. Then I've got nothing to do till New Years, and even then it'll probably be a quiet thing at home. Not many people throw parties around here. Very empty calender, besides Saturday.

I am flat broke... unfortunatly I can barely get the boys anything... it kinda hurts, we cant go anywhere because i need 252.42 for a new oil pump for my car or my engine will seize, and I cant get the money cause I cant get to work... :twitch: << that is so me thinking about it. I spent about 100 dollars at Wally World for the boys but all I got them were clothes, their others are so badly messed up, its about time... and I remember when I was little I hated getting clothes... I cant get my mom anything or any of my other family, it hurts thinking about it. Anyways... ya that wraps up my holidays.

In order NOT to be busy. I have next week OFF - yay! So I have been scrambling all week long to get a lot others things accomplished! I have a busy week off because Santa, his elves and all of my daughter's relatives are giving her room a total MAKEOVER. She's with her dad next week so I will be a busy bee, painting, shelving, adding a stereo to her room etc etc. Go supermom!

I can't help but do alot. I have a hard time relaxing. So I am in constant motion either physically or in mind....it makes my fiance crazy! He loves it when I am here posting because I am doing something for myself at least.....

I'm working on the relaxing...not an easy task. :)

I am sorry to hear about your money situation :(

You could possibly contact mol. We have had a thread about secret santas sending gifts for kids in need this holiday season.

Oh no no no no no... i couldn't... no... it will work out... i'll figure something out... its not that I relax alot... in fact its quite the opposite... I work to part time jobs... night and early shifts one a steel mill and another at a Dr. Pepper Factory in the loading docks... then i come home sleep for 4 hours, the kids wake me up, feed and play with the kids till they go to bed, then go to work... its just that getting up after 4 hours of sleep thats the killer part, but once i get a few pots of coffee in me, I am good to go ;)

Then on Friday, Sat and Sun I have off..but it is back to work on Monday and fly to MN on Tues-Thurs again and work on Fri and possibly Sat.. That goes on for about 6 weeks at least..
