Do you mean Tiamat? I'm not quoite sure that all Dragons are her children...there are several different forms and races. There are two major types, Oriental and Occidental. Occidental are the western dragons found in Europe, the midle east, northern europe, and parts of the far east. Oriental Dragons come in the form of the Chinese, Japanese, and central asian. They are variously the sons and daughters of Heaven, or the lord of the ocean. Occidental Dragons are varied, and are the progeny of many parents. They can be Greek, Celtic, Norse (although many of these are Serpents), and others. They were undoubtedly based on the original Serpent races livings in the mediterranean/Europe like Apothis, or Jormungandr. I know the Chinese have a listing of what the different colors of celestial Dragons are and what they represent, but other than that I think the color os merely metaphorical. Like in my homeland Wales, the Red Dragon is red to represent the blood spilled over the fight to keep the nation. A great book on Dragons was 'An Encyclopedia of ragons, Monsters, and Giants" by Carol Rose. it listed many of the individual Dragons in the major mythologies, and also had a huge section on Oriental Dragons. I hope this has been of some help. Namaste

"Taimati" is a town in Panama.

As the previous poster suggested, you could research Tiamat, who is a Babylonian Goddess. She was split into pieces by Marduk, who created the world out of her dead body. Several, if not most, of the Babylonian God(desse)s were her children, although I have never personally heard of any colors being connected with them, nor that any of them are actually dragons.

Here are some places to start:

http://www.gatewaystobabylon.com/gods/ladies/ladytiamat.html
http://www.gods-heros-myth.com/bab/tiamat.html
http://www.dreamscape.com/morgana/babylon.htm

I most emphatically recommend overlooking any and all roleplaying game/fantasy series sites about this or any other Deity. They tend to be one or two grains of truth mixed into a large measure of fantasy. It's very difficult to sort them out, especially for a beginner.
