Okay what I am going to tell you know pains me to the bone to admit...

When I was 9 I started having knightmares of these eyes appearing in the sky...even on a sunny day. (the pic below is the closest thing on the net I could get) but imagine a dream where you are walking along by a lake or something and these huge eyes a mile wide hang high in the sky and stare at you for ages and then blink and keep staring.

Then comes a roar! Then you wake up. And you look at the speakers on the radio and you see the eyes in them and on the tv and on milk bottles, coins, your knees and in your eyes in the mirror. I Need advice from you guys what to do because I'm now 20 and I'm very upset about this. I'm confined to my ward until I don't see these eyes again. THE EYES IN THE PIC SHOULD BE RED BUT THEY ARE GREEN AS THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES I COULD FIND _inabox_

Well... I hope you won't take offence if I ask if you have been to a psychiatrist.(sp?) It might be a wise thing to do since this might very well be something liking back to some traumatic experience in your childhood.

I would start with that, as for a more spiritual explination, well... I'd have to think about it first.

Blessings and good luck

I've been to them before but I'm looking for a more spiritual reasoning. (Yes I do believe 75% of it could be traumatic) but it's just the "What if..." factor. You know what I mean? :shaker:

Yes, i do know what you mean. You know what? I'll think about it until this evening and then contact you again, okay? The spiritual deal requires a little more in depth thinking. I don't want to justb blurt something out. I do have a few ideas... but I'll talk to you later, okay? Anytime you need to get anything off your chest, just pm! :hugz:

Blessings, Mina

not knowing the full deal here the best thing i can say is maybe try hypnosis to find out the core reason for seeing them or if you can try using lucid dreaming techniques or meditation to try and confront or see what the eyes are from.. if you can find the sorce you may just stop seeing them while awake.. maybe you could talk to someone (who knows more about your situation) about trying these things before you do them to see if they think its a good idea and if they feel it could be helpful.. I wish i could be of more help.. Blessed Be ~Morrigan~

I agreee with Morrigan on the hypnosis and lucid dreaming/ meditation deal.

I was awlaking around all day yesterday, thinking about what it might be. All that kept popping up in my head was dragons and mythical creatures. I don't know what it might be. A part of me think that it might be related to past lifes, however trying hopnosis would perhaps be the best thing overall since hypnosis can help you deal with past life traumas as well.

I didn't quite understand... are you only dreaming this, or do you actually see it during your waking life?

No, he is seeing the eyes...red eyes....all the time. In or on everything he looks at.

You say you are confined to your ward till you dont see the eyes anymore...what is this care facility doing for you? Are they trying to manage this condition with medication?

Honey, not to sound mean... but the visions of eyes, in all shapes and forms, are an extremely common first symptom of Schitzophrenia. If you're seeing them everywhere, this has nothing to do with spirituality, and everything to do with the chemicals in your brain.

:hugz: :loveydove :hugz: You're going to have a tough time of it; Schitzophrenia is a difficult condition to have. Try to listen to what the docs say, even if it sounds like they're conspiring against your or trying to hurt you. They aren't, honestly. And once they find the right combonation of meds for you, it'll all make more sense. And you won't have to see the eyes anymore.

It must be so frightening to see that...

I have a very dear friend who is schitzophrenic... one of his most common visions is that he hears rats skittering nearby. He's also seen an "inside out goat" (that's what we call it... his own words... kind of this mass of living, turned-out flesh).

Schitzophrenia is terrible, and can control your life unless others help you. Try to trust those around you, as impossible as it may seem. And having been in a psych ward (for depression), I know how crazy-making they are. Just try to hold out, I know you'll make it.

Dr's have almost given up on me. I keep telling them "Let me go outside for a while" and they keep refusing me :abadpoker I said to them that I trust everything they do but they say "For a person with schizophrenia, you have a well built up mind for not letting go". So I've tried meditation and sitting in my room with 50 candles and tried to look for a more suttle way to cure me. They all say I'm a very nice and friendly guy who is always up for a laugh (when I speak to people in person). But hypnosis is out of the question unfortunately as I have had many attempts made on me to become hypnotised but it doesn't work. The only way to get rid of these red eyes (which I have now nicknamed "Eyes of Fire") is to recreate a poem or something. So due to the fact I do a lot of poems, I wondered if there was a possability that I was chanting a spell or something. You see where I'm coming from? :goodgrief

are you Schizophrenic? I ask because of your name and also because you mention you see things. That can be one explaination. My ex mother in law had schizophernia and believe me.. it's important for one who suffers from such a disease to seek treatment. I hope whatever it was you saw is gone now.

No.....I'm affraid that I still see it. Every day. I want help and I told doctors that I'll trust them again just to get rid of these visions. I can't take it no more. It's everywhere, on the bars on my door, on the ceiling, my eyelids when I close my eyes. But they are never there when I'm sitting writing my poetry in my UV-lit room! That is where I feel most comfortable.

This all sounds to me more like paranoia rather than Schizophrenia. What I would do is write yourself a poem about protection from everything and keep it on you at all times and see what happens then. If you need anyone to chat to then feel free to message me.

This all sounds to me more like paranoia rather than Schizophrenia.

Schitzophrenia is a condition that includes (and is very often diagnosed by witnessing) extreme paranoia.

The only thing that's got me confused, hon, is why or how they let you have a computer and candles in a psych ward? When I was there, there was nothing. I mean, a TV, an out of tune piano, and some books.

As for the not seeing the eyes while you write, it's not so much that it's a spell or something like that, but rather that you are focused and distracted. It never lasts, right? My friend has the same issue... if he is very focused on something he enjoys, such as a particular video game, then he may be able to either not hear or not notice any symptoms he may be experiencing. I have the feeling it is similar for you.

Either way, don't give up on the docs. Until the eyes go away, they're your best bet. Not a 'spell'.

One other quick note:

It really concerns me that you might wish to think that this is a supernatural thing, or that it's something trying to contact you... or a vision of sorts... not that I'm concerned with your judgement, per say, only that some folks might try to give you "spells" and "charms" to try to either help you contact 'it' or to get rid of it.

The thing is, this is a very common hallucination associated with schitzophrenia. It is not a spirit guide or anything like that. A "charm" or "spell" isn't going to get rid of it. And if you begin to think of it as some kind of "spirit guide" or something... o_O well, the human mind has a talent for taking what we think something might be and twisting it. If you really begin to think it's something like that, your mind may manifest a hallucination that is what you think it is.

So at this point, I'd steer away from the metaphysical "what might this be?" , as it may actually worsen anything you may be experiencing right now. :rubhead:

Sequoia is right on, what more can I see but to emphasize staying on your meds, keeping regular appts. with your Dr.,
joining a group therapy and seeing a councellor who specializes in your diagnosis.

I ahave Bipolar Illness and it too is a serious lifelong disorder. It has to do with the chemicals in my brain not being normal, same as schizophrenia. It is a medical illness but categorized as a mental illness because if they said it was medical at this point in the game the insurance companies would lose too much money:FACT.

So, it's like any other disease such as cancer. If you had cancer would you think it was a supernatural problem? Of course not. There is still a great deal of social stigma regarding 'mental illness.' You can help reduce it by accepting your condition whatever it is and talking about it to trusted people.

Again be totally honest with your Dr. and if you don't feel better you will have to work closely with him to adjust your meds. Don't give up, you are not alone!

Western Medicine can be used alongside alternative medicine. It doesn't have to be one way or the other. They are both valuable.

We will all be here to support you through whatever happens honey. I hope that you stop seeing these visions soon. It must be so freaky and scary for you. :hugz: :hugz: and more :hugz: my love and thoughts are with you :hugz:

I dont think it would be a spell. Because you say different words and think different things each time dont you? I think the poetry might help you because it is an outlet for you.
Do you have any other outlets other than poetry? What do you enjoy doing?

Thank you all so much! Oh and to answer why they let me have candles and UV lights etc is because it is the only thing that keeps me calm and the visions of these eyes away. :bundled:

Wow, that sounds downright scary. I think I can relate with you in some ways, because I am Obsessive Compulsive and I get into these moods where I believe something crazy is happening when its really not, like my girlfriend is cheating on me or everyone is staring at me with hatred. This does sound much worse, but with determination you can beat this thing. I actually broke most of my Obsessive Compulsive habits on my own with almost no help from doctors. I don't know if the same could be done for whatever might be happening to you with these eyes, but good luck fighting it. Stay strong and never back down!

i agree with sequoia she is absolutly right about that being first signs of schitzophrenia i realy think you might want to see a psychiatrist i am a psychology major and i think the best advice you can get right now would be to seek out a psychiatrist because i dont think that seeing eyes like that has anything to do with spirituality either
i wish you the best luck
