omnipotence

hey mabye someone can help me with this
I got it more than once now in a dream but each time i get it its kinda different,
i am sitting there with a freind and all of a sudden something we are talking about strikes my attention (In the dream i cant hear the words correctly it all sounds muffled and kinda like muttering) k so As the word triggers this moment where i am semi omnipotent much like in the matrix where neo sees the coding for the first time, everything shifts with this omnipotence people become black shillouettes with purple auras, the room is now different it takes on a very odd new feel and certain things are different,

the next one was completley different in setting and how it happened but here goes

i am sitting in a feild of white flowers, legs crossed meditating and taking in the beauty of a nearby apple orchard when i feel strange, again i gain this semi omnipotence (which is not really anything near what i can explain and using that term is probably as close in words as i can get to what this is like in a dream) when i levitate off the ground and start beaming this wonderfull pure white light from me soon everything is white and i wake up.

it could be a sign that you are starting to see things in a different light.. your eyes are opening to new things, new ways of thinking.. the path to enlightenment.. sometimes we need to simplify our thinking and block out the excessive chatter in our lives in order to see things more clearly... sometimes we have to break things down into their basic elements/forms in order to understand them more fully.. we are a part of everything and everything is apart of us..
there are times when we need to take quiet time for ourselves and there are times when we need to let our light shine for everyone to see and share in..
it could also have to do with your psychic abilities opening up as the color purple has to do with psychic working..

SIthErAc, I can't help but notice that you joined MW around Nov 2004 some time. If I may, I suggest that these sensations of omnipotence may well be a direct response to your finding the MW community. Your subconscious may be processing the great wealth of information available to you and how you can essentially peel back many layers of the world to find the pagan behind them. The auras and sensations of people in a different view may be a representation of how the folks you interact with here at MW are not physical but "avatars" in a sense. Your subconscious is trying to bring these ideas into your thoughts and make them available to you, perhaps to even consider as you are sitting at the MW site!

Whatever, the interpretation, congratulations on what sounds like a very enjoyable dream experience. If you have ever worked with directed dreaming or would like to start, this dream seems like an excellent one to work with.

thank you for your insight! unfortunatley i had the dreams a long while before i even knew MW existed. as for directed dreaming i am not sure what thats all about perhaps you might care to PM me with some information??
and yes i only wish i had like a tv hooked to my brain so i could record some of my dreams it would be way easier than words. :) and then i would be able to share with others!

You are beginning to shift to lucid dreaming, where, since you have control over everything in the dream when you are lucid, you feel omnipotent. This is an excellent sign! To get there without having tried to get there, betokens an amount of personal development that is truly excellent! Well Done!!!!
To have the moments last, go to sleep aiming for them, with a purpose of something or someone you want to experience/ be with.
For example, if you are at some distance from your teacher(s) or guide(s) a merge of Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection (easily done by intent once you are Lucid Dreaming on desire), will take you to a place where the lesson perfectly customized to you and your situation awaits you.

Nope, in my mind those earlier dreams did not exist. :nicetie: They would interfere with the validity of my interpretations which are clearly correct!
