This rune is also known as Rad, and I've attached a picture of it.
In my book it's also called "the cartwheel", and it is said to be ruled by Mercury like Ansur, so it's also a rune of communication and travel. It may also suggest that the querent will embark on inner journies that will be enlightening and productive.
Unlike Ansur, however, this rune suggests a need to move now. It suggests changes or decisions be made. It can also refer to economic implications especially in trade. It may also suggest that the querent will receive unexpected positive messages.

Oops missed the attachment :)
Here's a sketch of two different ways I've seen Raido/Rad drawn...

...for kicking off Raido.
Raido (literally, ride) translates as cart, or cart wheel. It is symbolic of the Chariot of the Sun Goddess, Sunna. It is a Solar (Fire) Rune, & is connected to Thor, as well (Thor traveled about in a cart pulled by two goats). If you turn this Rune on it's side, it looks kinda like a wheelbarrow, or hand cart.
As a Solar Rune, Raido is a Rune of the mind & higher self.
In a reading, Raido indicates that the 'wheels are turning'; changes may be in progess, decisions may need to be made. You may be feeling like things are 'churning' or unsettled. Making those choices & decisions can make those unsettled feelings resolve. Raido can indicate travel. This would be a longer trip than indicated by Ehwaz, the 'horse' Rune; you need to take a 'cart' to carry possessions or supplies, so to speak. It can indicate a change of address (if you've been thinking about moving, this is the time to begin putting those ideas into action). The journey shown by Raido can be literal, or spiritual. Consider the question, & the Runes around it. Raido will carry you to your destination.

Raidu, Reid or in swedish vagnsrunan (which means sort of cart rune, or cartwheel rune...)
It stands for: order, movement, protection.
Reid is Tors rune, it stands for things getting in order, for "ordning och reda (reid)" as we say in swedish.
It stands for movement, travel or inner travel... it tells of adventure in journeys.
It is also a strong rune to use for protection, it also stands for the four elements.
Reversed it stands for lost goals, stagnation, not getting anywhere, chaos...
Wear this rune for protection, or for getting things in order, and perhaps for protection during a journey.
Blessings

Thats really interesting I will remember ~ Higher self and mind for Raido :)
Thanks Willow!
I agree with you all!
Raido is a journey ~ movement is coming or needed. It cause change it some way depending upon the other runes.
It can be a journey or movement in all sense's ~ literally, physically or spiritually. It can also be a life lesson.
Action is what needs to be decided on this journey.
You can wear it for protection on journeys and use it to protect your car.
& you can also use it for healing to help move on illnesses and get rid of addictions.

Raidho is associated with the autumn equinox along with Kenaz and Gebo. At this time of year, the forces of dark and light are balanced. The sun is at its highest point at midsummer and at its darkest at Yule. At spring and autumn the sun is at a midway point. Kenaz and Raidho inform us about the nature of opposing forces of equal strength and one of the meanings of Gebo is equilibrium. An appropriate ritual symbolizing Odin's suspension between the realms of light and darkness in order to gain knowledge could be enacted.

Interesting... I've just had Raidho come up in a reading I've done for myself, and we are getting close to Mabon, aren't we!
Journeying, whether spiritual or physical. A Process of change, of metamorphosis. Movement forward. The antithesis of stagnation.

I love getting Raidho in a reading and drawing it when reading for someone else. I always perceive it as a positive journey and relate it to the natural cycle of things, and it reminds me that this combined with right action brings a good outcome!

These runes fit for me totally at this time :) I think Im going to have a big think and plan a ritual for Mabon.. maybe it will be a very active ritual as you never know I may give birth on that day!

Maybe in the process of planning your ritual, you can direct the babe to be born on this Sabbat :)

Raido means to me the path or the road ahead. It also signifies the Right way or the law as it was amongst the old folk. It can mean progress toward a goal of some desired kind and also the element of air and speech especially the speaking of the Law in the Althing.
