Over the past few weeks I've been unable to remember what I do in the Astral plain, as well as any of my dreams. Each night as I fall asleep, I say to myself that I wish to remember the things that go on in my dreams, yet when I wake up, I seem to have slept badly, and I'm soar x.x; ... The last thing I do remember about my dreams from a few weeks ago, was my Astral familiar died... two days later my familiar in this world passed away as well. Does anyone think there might be a connection to my dreams and such from my familiar's passings?

I only rarely remember dreams or astral workings. Usually when I do, they are SIGNIFICANT. The last few weeks though I have been needing a lot more sleep than usual, and have been remembering more than usual. So there may be some shifts in the astral planes that are affecting your dream patterns. There may also be a connection between losing your familiars in both planes and not being able to remember your dreams or workings. It may be that at some deep level you have "disconnected" from your dreams because you need the time to heal and recover from the grief you experienced at the deaths of your familiars. Losing that spiritual link in both planes would be very painful I imagine. Have you tried just going to sleep without making the conscious effort to remember your dreams? Maybe what you really do need right now is time to grieve and heal.

Sometimes you don't remember dreams because you don't need to. Other times you may be blocked. Before you go to sleep, try reciting that "you want to remember your dreams" a few times out loud. If you wake up and still don't remember, try meditating or thinking about the last thing you felt or saw, and try to backtrack from there. Hopefully this works for you.

I have always been told, put a note book with a pen next to your night stand. When you first wake up. Write down whatever you remember, however little from your dreams. Even if its just one thing. Keep practicing til you get all of it down.

It could have been that your familiar was your link to the plane. It's also possible that the loss has hurt you so badly that you're simply not doing anything in the plane or in your dreams, to try and heal.

Yeah, I've thought about that as well.. about my familiars being my link to that plain.. I was just curious as to what others had to say about it, thanks to all of you ^_^ mm, I think I will try some of those things, once I get my room straightened out once more.. ^^

As someone on here told me, emotional and mental exhausted can make you forget your dreams or even stop you from realizing that you are dreaming.
I read for an hour or so every night before bed, and "never" dream. If I don't read before bed (I stop when my mind goes numb), I remember my dreams.
