Need Help!

Hello everyone, as you probably are wondering who I am well my name is Rosalinda and I'm a 16 year old high school student. And I am very interested in Wicca. I don't know how I became interested in it it's just that one day I woke up and at school I looked up some witchcraft things and It leaded me to this wonderful club and I see that mostly all the people have a sort of nickname and I am not very creative and so I thought maybe one of you people could help me pick out a good nickname for myself. Don't be bothered about my email address I was very young and stupid to put trippingrl420 as my email address but I'm going to be at a new one and I don't know what name I should pick out. I want my email address to go with my Wiccan name so If you need any info for me to answer in order for you to give me an idea or a nickname please feel free to. Thanks! Love ya!

In choosing a magickal name, the best advice I can give you is to do it yourself. :) It's such a personal thing, and you really need to find something that you connect with, and after all, no one knows that better than you.

Some people look at things and instantly create their names from it. Others take longer, or find it through meditation or divine inspiration. All ways are valid.

Also, you don't have to pick any new name if you're not comfortable with it.

There are a few threads here on magickal names already that I'm going to go bump up for you. :)

Hi Rosebud & Welcome! Ditto on what Loopy said about names. You may also go through several names before finding that perfect one. As well, what may seem perfect at one time of your life, may not be right for another.

Also, try picking up one of those cheap baby name books and going through looking and the meanings of any cool names you find. That's one way to do it too!

You could do some research on deities and find one you like or want to align yourself with. Or maybe find one with traits you'd like to personally improve on.

Don't feel bad if you have trouble finding one that is right. You don't need to be in a hurry. I've been practicing the Craft for three years already and I still don't have a magickal name that feels right! But good luck! ;)
