angry as i am, enraged would better describe it, i'd like to suggest we try to send out a message to some of our fellow citizens, we have in this country several million moslem citizens and legal alien residents, they came here for many reasons all of which had to do with wanting a better life and a share in our "american dream". they are at least as shocked, horrified and outraged as any of us if not more so, if that is possible, at the evil of tuesday morning. it is as if the madness many of them came here to escape has followed them. a madness they rejected by coming here to make new lives, and worse some of our own people (though not any of this community i'm certain) have begun to take out their rage on our arab/muslim fellow citizens. whenever we can, wherever we find this surfacing we need to do what we can to stop it by word, example and deed. as an example the ten people arrested at new york airports as "potential terrorists" have turned out to be nothing of the sort, just people headed for a conference at boeing aircraft co. now someone owes then a serious apology. we need to catch the perpetrators of this horror and give them their due but we need too to protect the innocent among us. salaam aliekum.

The ones that were caught with false IDs, including one with a fake pilot's license? Well, I don't think we can blame the people involved for being extra careful in light of what happened.

However I wholeheartedly agree that we should stop hatred in it's tracks!

I just want to post about a story that was on our local news last night. There have been a few attacks on the Arab (is that a PC term?) owners of some stores where the police had to be called. I believe noone was hurt...HOWEVER a random store owner was putting up an American flag and a car drove by throwing bottles at him-the car was blaring a foreign "Middle Eastern" sounding music and the passengers were yelling things in another language. :( I do feel for the Arabic people in this country but it's ignorant people like that who are causing "bad blood" between "us" and "them".

These attacks on our fellow citizens are awful. It disturbs me that people are commiting these small acts of terrorsim (they are causing terror) on our fellow Americans with everything that has happend this week. They are hypocrits.
