Ive never felt so crazy before, i have cabin fever like you would not beleive!
Ive been in this house for a wk, theres nothing left to do. I cant go out because i cant walk very long and my pelvic bone is killing me. Not to mention contractions that come and go aas they please. My hubbys been leaving left and right because he also cant take staying in, wich leaves me here twidling my thumbs, bored out of my mind. I have 2 more wks of this maybe less if he decides to come, but god im not the type of person to sit around all day and watch tv.
Any suggestions on what i can do with my time, or a way to releive my stress. At night is the only break i get because i still have my 22 month old daughter to take care of, and shes been a totally diff person the last few weeks, crabby as can be, wich isnt like her at all. Im trying my best to stay positive around her so she dosent feel it but it hasnt been easy.
I come here often so i can reply to posts wich gives me something to do. But theres only so much i can be on here also.....

Sorry i need to vent...

Wow, that is hard. When are you due? I know I felt absolutely stir crazy right before my girls were born. Your 22 month old is probably picking up on your stress and thats whats causing the crabbiness. Do you like to read? I know I can just lose myself in a good book. Maybe some jigsaw puzzles, rent some movies or even a coloringbook and crayons can be entertaining for a little while. Best of luck! I hope your baby arrives soon and you are feeling better! :hugz:

Those are great ideas:) Ive been so stressed none of those ideas even dawned on me.
I do have a great book i got a while back and def going to start reading it tonight.
It should def take my mind off things, and hopefully ill be able to sleep good afterwards.

merry blessings

What kinds of hobbies do you have that you may have been too distracted to follow up on? Do you like sketching? Writing? Or something else to concentrate on to keep your mind active, and NOT thinking about being cooped up in the house awaiting the arrival?

I agree that it's probably your stress that's bothering your 22 month old. You could tone down the stress by picking up a good book, sketching, writing, or sitting down to watch a movie with some cocoa or popcorn. Bake holiday cookies or something easy with your daughter, you could pull over a chair and have her help you mix and stuff. Write a letter to a friend or family member that you maybe haven't talked to in awhile. Take a nice, long bubble bath and just relax in the warm water...you could do this with the little one, too, if your tub is big enough. A nap might help pass the hours too, if it won't throw off your sleeping schedule too much. I wish you the best of luck with alleviating your cabin fever and hope your pregnancy goes well.
