Simple poll, really. I can't remember it being done before, so if it has, do forgive me!
But... what do you believe in or worship?

I don't worship anything except life itself. But I work with various spirits, like the dead, the orisha in Santeria, the loa of Voodoo, animal totems, spirit guides, and whatever else shows up for the party of this life. I have to look at the poll options again to see what fits best, then I'll pick one.

Personally, I believe in a single God, whom I believe to be female or feminine (if she/he/it has a sex at all). I believe in angels, spirits, energy working, all sorts of spirituality, tarot, and many "new-age" things. I see "spells" and "magick" to be more forms of directed energy and/or prayer, rather than something inherantly special about a combonation of herbs and crystals. I don't actually do anything like "spells", myself.
I try to take a down-to-Earth sort of approach on spirituality and religion, don't really consider myself to have a 'religion' in a named way, and mostly enjoy learning about other religions.
Hey, this can be a "get to know your neighbour's 'path'" thread!

I couldn't really answer the poll, as I'm a panentheist. I believe that God is immanent within all creation, as well as seperate from it. i.e. also maintaining a transcendent character.

Hmm, I think I would consider that the "one deity" theory. One God, who is present in everything and on it's own as well.
I was mostly going for the quantity... not necessarily the quality ;)

i think the gods are essentially the same... Different names, different aspects... Different ways of worship. Plus, the learning of all of the gods out there is just facinating :)

I don't know...it's kind of hard to explain. You see, I believe that all gods exist as part of the ultimate life-force, but at the same time, exist seperately. I guess that's sort of like the Trinity. *Shrugs*

I don't worship a God, but that's not to say I don't believe in one...or many. I've just never had a God call out to me as my Goddess' did. I often wonder if I'm missing something by not having a God in my life. BUt when I think about the 2 Goddess' I have, I am happy with them. I'm doing the same as I did with a Goddess--I will let a God come to me. I won't activily look for Him.

Lots and lots. I don't really know how many there are, because I only deal with the Irish gods on any sort of regular basis.

Having many gods for the same thing kind of contradicts itself... so either there's one pantheon, no gods, or.. yeah.

It depends on whether one views that gods as just "for" certain things or as individuals who happen to be good at certain things. Also it depends on if one views the gods as omnipotent forces that apply to the whole world, or powerful spirits that originated in certain parts of the world.
For instance, the Tuatha de Danaan came to Ireland, and were the gods of those people. In Greece, the gods of mount olympus were the gods of the grecians. As civilizations mixed, and people immigrated the gods spread around with the people.

I believe in infinite dieties, but they're all aspects of One.

I believe there are infinite deities that exist for reasons beyond our comprehension. I believe they are all linked, as are all things, as they were all created by the First-one - who is long passed out of a state of existence and is now somewhat broken, I believe. :)

I took the infinite option... but I dont think their are infinite dieties in the literal meaning... but what it seemed to be saying to me that the number wasnt fixed.. and thats about right for me.
Dieities are each associate with a certain "concept" or set thereof, and worshop, or action involving those concepts, increases their power and influence over time. Kind of like a giant cistern of energy, given sentience by its own willpower.

I really do believe that the Divine Mystery is in everything - that's part of what makes it a Mystery - but since one of the greatest spiritual experiences of my life was being part of an aspecting in which a deity who was extremely ancient & yet almost childishly young in terms of interacting with the material world revealed hirself to humans for the first time, I had to go with the infinite deities option. They're all out there - they've always been out there & will always be out there, because human understanding of time is way too limited to explain the When of the gods - and a lot of them are waiting to be found! I know I'm looking forward to it. -Windsmith

As I believe in infinite universes and infinite possible realities, I believe there are most likely infinite deities out there, but some are much less then others.
