water scrying

I have been trying to attune to the element water in magic because Im a triple Scorpio, (water sign.)

However when I scry nothing happens. The reflections from the curtains in my room are all I see in the water.

It seems I'm better at orinthology or is it orinthomancy-anyway it's divination by studying birds that you see during the day. For instance, if I see an even number of birds flying across me from left to right that means I will have an easy, peaceful day. If I see odd numbers or any number going right to left it will be a difficult day. There's other details but this seems to work.

How can that be if My horoscope is all Water and my personality is watery and my dreams are watery???

this kind of scrying can be very difficult for some... I myself have great difficulty with it.... that and with scrying mirrors.... mainly because of the ammount concentration it requires...
you are definatly are connected with water...but it does'nt always help with the scrying....you may want to try a new area where you get less reflection...it will cause less distraction from your concentration.... if you don't already try a deep meditation before you scry.... and keep your mind empty...which is very hard....you may even want to put on a light music that will help keep your mind at a quiet state rather than wondering off....
also it depends on how your looking into the water... it helps more-so if you look past the water rather that into the water.... and then right down right after wards anything that poped into your mind..even if it seemed insignificant....then try to figure out its possible meanings....

never heard of it... but there are so many forms of divination its dizzying...lol

I learned about the bird divination in Cunningham's 'Divination' book. It actually works and is readily available, Vegas as I'm sure where you are in Ga is full of birds. I used to live in Ga around the Atlanta area. What element do you feel the closest kinship with?

probrably...air and water... my sign is scorpio...so im a water sign....
Ill have to look into that cunningham book.... we do have quite a bit of birds here....lol
I live in the middle GA area....below macon in the air force base town...warner robins...

My 14 year old lives in Perry with his Dad, how 'bout that!
Im flying in to Atl. Christmas to pick him up and go to my Dads on the Ga coast. Small world!
