Merry Meet All :)
If you were a God or Goddess...what would you control? What kind of people would you especially look after? What things would you change about this world? What would be your forms which you could change into? Would you come down to this Earth and talk to a person in Human/Animal/Plant Form? Would you just give them signs and whisper into someone's ear/mind/heart? What would you do? And so on and so forth...
Blessed Be

If I were a 'God', then I would come down to this Earth and speak with people, without telling them who I were. If I were a 'God', my Godly name would be... Tibon, a hebrew name for Nature Lover.
I would take extreme care of all who saw Nature as sacred, who knew that they were a part of Nature. I would be there with the people who stood up for what they believed in. I would also come to this Earth in forms of a Tiger, Owl, Fox, Dragon, Cat and many plants and "inanimate" objects. I would fight for this Earth through words and actions and by helping, guarding and healing the people who stand up for themselves, but also help people who are "lost". I would do so much,
Blessed Be

I did this as a joke one time, but I still feel like I 'm this Goddess:
The Charge of the Goddess Computa by Keishin (http://the%20charge%20of%20the%20goddess%20computa%20by%20keishin/)
Listen to the words of the Goddess Computa, patron of TechMages everywhere, who of old was called Geek, Nerd, Computer Twit, Techie, and by many other names:
"Whenever you have need of anything from the Internet, at all hours, and better it be from a hi-speed DSL connection, you shall assemble in some computer lab that looks like a technogeek's wet-dream and adore the spirit of Me who is the Queen of all the Wise.
You shall be free from slavery (except of course from caffeine), and as a sign that you be truly free, you shall be overlooked by all, except when they lose their documents on the network.
Program, hack, game, rewire, search, write code and apps, all in my Presence, for Mine is the ecstasy of the perfect program and Mine is also the joy of rebuilding the server for the tenth time.
For my law is love onto all beings. Mine is the secret door that opens to that really lucrative IT job, and mine is the cup of coffee that is the cauldron of all inspiration, that is the holy grail of immortality (or at least another night without sleep). I give the knowledge of the Internet, and when not online, I give peace and freedom to . . . what do you mean you're not online!
And those who seek to know Me, know that seeking and yearning will avail you not unless you know the Mystery: for unless you learn to think in Unix, dabble in Java, dream in hexadecimal, and loathe all things Microsoft, you will never be truly a TechMage.
Let there be mischief and mirth, power and compassion, skill and humility and serenity within you. For behold, I have been with you since the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of the LAN party."
Computa can be found in the Geek Pantheon and is one of the lesser known children of Zeus Ex Machina. She is the spirit also found in your computer. Why? Well it is known to most TechMages that computers are female, because when they leave, they take everything you had with them.
To appease Computa set up your altar as follows: In the east put a can of compressed air. In the south, a magent and floppy disc. In the west, a half-empty cup of Jolt Cola. In the north, a slice of stale pizza.

I would be the God of those who are disenchanted by the world. Those who would love for everything to be peachy but gets screwed over regularly and they become bitter towards the world. Eventually they learn how to get ahead in a world of screwballs

I think I would be the Parrot Goddess (I love Parrots). My element is Air anyways and parrots fly in the air. They are colorful like me. I think I would like to be a shape shifter Goddess, that way I could appear as a beautiful woman or a beautiful parrot. And I think I would call myself Parra or Perroquetta.

I would be the patroness of the theatre and stage! I would look after all the actors, muscians, dancers, and singers that performed on the stage.
I would appear to people either as a black cat wandering through the backstage, or a masked woman only seen far above on the catwalks, ect.
Finally, I would be known only as "La Prime Donna"
:D

I would be a god of lucid dream-games, with a time 'distortion' factor of about 1500 to 1 (20 minutes of dreaming or day-dreaming would cover almost 3 weeks of dream-experiences), with a non-electronic 'device' / amulet that would ennable anyone who had one to enter whatever kind of world they preferred, alone, or in interaction with others on Earth at the same time, with full sensory 'special effects', and those who preferred could 'set' their bodies to doing any simple set of repetitive tasks while their minds were completely focused on one or another of these dreams. It wouldn't cost any money, would not be physically addictive, and no-one could have any such dream more often than three times per day. Those who created 'popular' dreams could be hired by others to 'make dream-world stories'.
Control? I wouldn't control anything or anyone....
Look after? Ummm, people that have the potential to be great 'dream-story makers' but who find it hard to acheive 'normal success' or 'normal survival'....
Change about this world? Ummm... I'm in that catagory above...so I plead incompetence to manage anthing as complex as this world, or even any portion of it.
In dreams, like everyone else, I would be able to change into whatever I liked....
I would proudly help people acheive contact with their own goddesses/ gods/ spirits in learning dreams or shamanic dreams...
etc.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Actually, my computer's name is Venus because when we get along, she's the perfect goddess of Love and Beauty...but when we're arguing (page won't load, script won't run, etc.) she can be a petty spiteful b!tch. I honor her, adore her, and have promised to sacrifice the small children around my apartment to her some day. Er...well, I've given her permission to infiltrate their home and delete their homework, but if she does, it's of her own volition.
If I were a Goddess, I would be a Goddess of intellect, inspiration, and creation. I would be a protector of writers and researchers, of novelists and non-fiction authors alike. They would pray to me to end their writers block, and pay homage when I point them to the perfect source for their bibliographies. Poets would bid my aid in finding the perfect rhyme, and the masses would love me for ending the plague of "reality tv" that has infested the world. Some would call me a muse, some would say I'm just a dream, and others would say I'm the force that possessed their hands as they wrote or typed their masterpieces. I would dance with Thoth in the minds of our beloved prophets. I do not know what my name would be, but those who follow me would see my name in their works, my face would inspire their heroines, and they would hear my voice in their hearts as they create written records for the world to access far into the future.
