Well, a lot of cultures are pointing around the year 2012, some say it will be the end of the world and we will all be judges, as some say that it is just a massive change. It may just be the end of the world the way it is, that a new era starts, IF it is around 2012. And something may even happen that some people will not notice.

So why are you agonizing? Why not welcome this new begining? :) What dream did you have, if you don't mind me asking?

I've seen this 'end' in my dreams. The will be a polar shift. And our Earth will go on to 4th dimension, so this means, things will change A LOT. And yes, even scientists know that it might happen around 2012 or 2013.
But it's not an end, it's just a new beginning of something.

The 4th dimension is time.

i've had quite a few "end of the world" dreams. but can someone clarify the 4th deminsion thing to me, i probably sound silly asking but i'm a bit confused with that whole thing.

jodarius
December 27th, 2004, 05:02 AM
Like I said, the 4th dimension is thought to be time. As time is an actually thing that can be maninpulated by gravity. Time passes at differant speeds with more or less gravity.

sandra_the_green
December 27th, 2004, 05:15 AM
right well i got that part of it being time but how would our world go on to the 4th deminsion?? i probably should have been clearer on where i was confused, thanks though :)

I am not sure about the whole going into the 4th dimension, as we are now, we can perceive the effects of time but not time itself, so I guess when it happens we wil know. I dont see humans ascending that far in the next 8 years though personnally.

no problem, personnally I see the end of the world coming when we create computers that we allow to do our thinking for us.

sandra_the_green
December 27th, 2004, 05:40 AM
i always thought of that more as the end of the humans ruling, not necessarily the end of the world

jodarius
December 27th, 2004, 05:43 AM
Well, it would be the end of our world, I mean really, the machines would eventually deem us useless and exterminate us. Yes the planet would remain, but organic life forms would cease. In all tghe possible world ending, barring the planet exploding or it being vaporized, the planet would go on, its the life on it that would cease.

sandra_the_green

jodarius
December 27th, 2004, 05:55 AM
Just as if we did ascend to the next dimension, It would not be the world that changed it would be us, therefore it would not be the end of the world, as the world would continue just fine without us in this dimension.

Nope. And everyday is a new beginning. A ray of sunshine in the east that washes away the thoughts and turmoils that paved the road of life... A parting of the clouds occurs, there is a release of pigeons, and the road of fate calls you forth with the call of clarion silver trumpets...!

Nah, I can't see the future, but thinking about it in a good way helps me get through it all. :)

Also, the end of the world has been predicted since... Well, probably since the beginning. If you have cable I'd give The History Channel's Countdown to Armageddon a look-see:

Well.. this is a bit hard to explain, about the 4th dimension, because you have to truly understand the whole background and the Cosmic Orders of life.
But of course, I can still somehow try to explain.
We are living in the 3rd dimension, that's why everything has a third 'variant', like you have white and black colour, and when you mix it, you get grey.
Everything is like 'a triple'.. if you know what I mean. This also means that this is why we look like we do, and are tall like this.
In the 4th dimension - people are taller, they see colours and shapes and objects that we cannot see in the 3rd dimension. And that is also why WE cannot see them.
The human race is moving on to a let's say.. 'new age', which means their 'minds' will develop into a higher conscious.
Ohh...*sigh* gosh it's so hard to explain.
If you want to find out more, I suggest you to by this book called 'The Flower of Life' written by Drunvalo Melchizedek.

According to some scientists, we already exist in multiple dimensions other than the 4 we know about. What Zhanna mentioned could be though of as one of them. We perceive mostly only 3 dimensions with a sense of time but there are theories that our occasional glimpses of the supernatural may just be an expanding of our vision into another dimension. Who knows? We still know very little about the universe.

As for the end of the world, I believe nostrodamus mentioned something about it being in the year 7000 or so, dunno which calendar he was using. I for one thing we are in a short period of natural disasters and political strife, this will culminate in a merging of ideas or ideals and maybe help our world unite into one world.

Yeah, I agree. :)
Native Americans say "the end of the world" is around 2012, yet another civilization said said 2013. And now Nostradamus.. 7000? Gosh.. lol.

But.. no matter how much I might know about this thing about polar shift and what not, still.... I wish it won't happen. I want to live a normal life, lol. Go to university, marry, have kids etc. It wouldn't be so fun to just suddenly 'fade away' because of a polar shift..

It would be nice to think of it with rose colored glasses but maybe it won't be like that at all. The thing is we don't know. All I ever learned about the end of the world brought fear into my heart instead of love, thanks to the christian church. So, despite the fact that I'm not longer christian, I am still scarred and a little scared. But anyway, not to bash christians, because they all don't think all non believers are doomed, I hope for a nice ending, whether that be physical, or metaphysical.

I've heard that we are already in the 4th dimension and making our way to the 5th. I also heard from the same source that the moon is an artificial sattelite. As far as I know, this is channelled information, and... for every piece of channelled information, there seems to be a contradictory piece of channelled information. I'm not discrediting channelled information. I just think we always have to be very skeptical of it.

Also I'm not rejecting these ideas. They could both be true, for all I know. (I'm also cautious of the scientific explanation of the origin of the moon, although perhaps less so, because at least they provide reasonable explanations... and that the moon is natural seems intuitively more likely!) I am very skeptical, because I can't accept what someone else tells me without thinking it through myself, especially if I'm not given any evidence or incentive to accept these ideas. I'm very uncomfortable with people who tell me something is true with no way of testing or rationalising it for myself... and I'd really like to know if there are any good books on these topics; books which actually provide good arguments which come from sources other than channels and psychics... information that is much more than just the whim of the author (anyone read Elizabeth Claire Prophet's books on the Lost Teachings of Jesus? That's whimsical garbage, IMO).

I just heard today: "Don't believe anything you read, and rarely believe anything you think." So, I'm just looking for good reasons...

I wonder, those of you who do believe that we're entering a new dimension, or that the world is changing in ways it hasn't for thousands of years... why do *you* believe it? What arguments convinced you? Also, could someone define 'dimension' for me?

And WarriorZhana, is it not true that if our eyes were more sensitive to different vibrations we'd be able to see things and colours we don't normally see? I don't see what it has to do with dimensions -- it simply has to do with the wavelengths of light that are visible to the human eye. Other creatures have eyes with different sensitivities...

im not a big seer, but did any of u try to predict the End? i think its coming soon and its not really an end but new begining. :ahhhhhhh: Not the end of everything. But it's going to be pretty darn' horrible. And I don't think we have to wait all the way until 2012. We're going to see things well before that year, much like the tsunamis that just swept across the Indian Ocean, and worse and worse hurricane seasons. But I'm not too worried, because I think we'll survive. And if not, I'm still not worried. _whistle_

I'm not a scientist, nor even took physics in high school! But I'd like to know more about these dimensions. Is Summerland the 4rth dimension, or the 5th? Or not even a dimension at all?

I had an "end of the world" dream about five or six years ago...it was about a big tidal wave and in the dream, I didn't want to go to work, I wanted to stay home with my family...hmmm...These past few nights, I have been having weirder dreams than usual. I had one last night about the royal family in europe, that someone was poisoning the water the royals were drinking and it was giving them neurological diseases...Prince Charles was in the dream, and Camilla, she collapsed, he picked her up and carried her to the doctor...just a strange dream all around!

I too have had a premonition and dreams of a great shifting. Have a feeling that people will be forced to live simpiler lives, that those who cannot adapt to it will starve and only those who can "revert to nature" will survive. I actually had a vision while doing a deep meditation. In it, I was suddenly in a different place, and before me, but a long way off, was a dragon. Huge, fierce, and red, he was angry and burning, yet not with flames as we know them. He just sat there, looking into the distance. Fasinated, I just watched him, not moving or making any sound so he wouldn't notice me. And then suddenly, before I could think, he turned and was upon me, looming over me, his eyes a flickering orange/yellow, like flames within. His mouth opened, and came over me, swallowing me whole. I fell through darkness for what felt like an eternity, and emerged in another place. In this place chaos reigned, tides were changing, there was mass starvation and war. Brother killed brother in the race for survival.....and then it went further, and I saw new shoots of grass and flowers blooming under the charred earth, I saw the oceans cleanse themselves, and I glimpsed for a second a new place of beauty and peace. The strange thing is, the next morning I went out to the spot I had this vision, and the grass was laying down beside the tree I was sitting at, and it was in the shape of what one would envision a dragon laying down. And it was ONLY in that spot that is was down, Im talking about tall, tall grass that never gets cut, not lawn grass. So yes, I believe it. As to when, who can say?? But I have the feeling it will be within the next hundred years. I personally believe that the shift has already taken place. It wont be over night, it will take a long time, as all great change does. I long for it. Very interesting thread. _happydanc

All interesting posts...I myself have been having dreams about some sort of ending/new beginning increasing in frequency over the past year...the thing is, they have all been scaring me, but I think this is due to a very strong nature of resisting/fearing change...however; I have also been having other dreams not having to do with the end of the world that all are somewhat mirrored in my real life usually several months later...I can't really call them psychic, because not every dream that I have is prophetic, and I haven't yet learned to discern them from the ones that are just my own thoughts unwinding...And then i eat the toothpaste. Some of my dreams are already posted in this forum...And then i eat the toothpaste. But this thread has provided some cool insights, and I am definitely going to go look for 'The Flower of Life" because that sounds intriguing! And then i eat the toothpaste.

Ah, the 'end of the world'. Quite frankly, if it is -the- end, and not a new beginning, I think its coming FAR too soon. I think we're rather too young for that. But a new beginning, oh, I don't know. The thought scares me, so frankly, I think I'll go do my geometry homework and hope, that whatever it is, if it is indeed coming, for the best. Everyone's posts on this board have greatly intrigued me, but my 'uninfluenced' answer would be 'no, I don't believe that it’s coming, certainly not in 2013'.

Aahh.. great.. I just found this thread and it's past bedtime already and I've got school in a few hours.. BAH! -_-

I too have been having worries/fears/thoughts about the so called "end of the world", but an interesting theory I'm kind of turning over in my head is that we're coming from the Age of Pisces (the age of conformity, sacrifice and Christianity) to the Age of Aquarius (an age of freethinking and liberation).

Naturally this would cause some turbulence. It is, of course, difficult to say if the Biblical "end of the world"/Revelations "end of days"-type thing is a real and literal "fire rains from the sky and burns up 1/3 of the trees" kind of thing, or if it simply means it is the end of Christian times and it will be the downfall of the Church. There is certainly ~a LOT~ of change going on, but it is VERY difficult for one to draw any sort of conclusion about it with any real sound logic behind it.

I'll try and address the dimension thing tomorrow..

..very interesting topic...

Here's a link on the Age of Aquarius for some quick info on the Astrological Ages (http://www.bemyastrologer.com/age_of_aquarius.html)
