I watched a paranormal show on a tv station last night, and it was mentioning how an abnormal temperature change, either an increase or decrease in an environment, can be an indication of the presence of spiritual entities. This got me thinking about something I've been suffering through my entire life.
Whenever I go to sleep, ever since being a babe, I've always made sure I'm completely covered in my blankets, because when I leave an arm, hand, or my chest exposed, I always get these 'shadowy' nightmares. When I forget to cover myself, I get these scary dreams of things I can't see, but can feel, and wake in fear of something being present in my room. I'm not sure if it matters what the temperature of the room is before going to bed, but the main part is just leaving a part of my body exposed from the blankets. And I always feel really cold after waking up. Freezing in fact. I've never grown out of these nightmares since growing older, and it's always involving these shadowy, invisible presences. They don't talk or anything, and I've never been able to visualize them. It's just like something is there which I can't see...
Now, it's quite possible there's a scientific explanation for this. So, I'm asking to someone who knows; is having part of your body exposed, and cold when sleeping linked to nightmares? And I'm greatly wondering why I'm only afraid of these things when dreaming, or waking from the dream state. I'm not normally afraid of the dark or presences, or even dying for that matter. But I leave a dim light on at night almost always, because of these dreams.
Unrelated to feeling presences (I think), but I sometimes get this horrible nightmare where I'm running away from my old cottage by the lake, because the water is rising to flood everything (2012 divination? - this dream I've had well before all those apocalyptic movies. I must have been about 5 years old when I first had it.). Sometimes there's no rain falling, but the water keeps on rising anyways. And this massive dark storm is pursuing me, but I always outrun it, just by a hair breath, and then my dream changes to something else. I've had this dream so many times since being small, and now I'm reading more and more posts on MW about flooding and polar shifting around 2012, so it came to mind.
Well, hopefully there's some food for discussion here now.
