Merry Meet,

Hello all, it's Isis here. I'm here to say thank you to all of you for your support through my job training!!!!! I've officially graduated and am awaiting my first assignment. So your prayers, and candles have been tremendously supportive and mean the world to me.

Now on to the ugly part.......the terrosist action and the residual actions that have followed. As a flight attendant(formerly flew with one of the hijacked carriers, though I'm with a different company now in the same capacity) you learn about hijacking and terrorist action. However, I can guarantee you that what we learn is nothing in comparison to what say an anti-terrorist expert knows. Basically, we fly blind, and hope and pray that all is well. The vast majority of the time it is..........

When I first witnessed the carnage I swear I thought it was ATC holding the planes short by LGA, once again!(Sorry to ATC people out there, but you know how cramped LGA airspace is, LOL) Then when the reality set in, my second thought......'Osama Ben Ladin is up early this morning!'

I'm tired and probably not make a whole helluva lot of sense right now, but I know for sure that I will not allow Ben Ladin to control my freedom. I refuse to succumb to the fear that he wants to bestow upon our country and our people(he's called for death to the united states and all of its inhabitants, and supports any actions that will lead to our demise.....regardless of our station in life). I was scared for about a day, and then I simply just refused to succumb to his wishes. I will not live as a prisoner in my body, mind or spirit. Yes, I'll exercise all precautions but I'd rather die living my life with spirit and freedom, and standing up for what I believe than to live one day in fear, panic, and regret. Imprisoned by what ifs, shoulda's and coulda's.

As much as Bush makes me want to vomit, and I don't like his politics, I do believe we've got the right family in office when one of these unforseen, psycho terrorist, bullshit thingies popsup.

I do send out my prayers to all those who lost their lives needlessly, and violently. May the gods cloak them with strength and the will to continue on, and be proud of those loved ones that have left them behind.

I send out a special prayer to our Islamic brothers and sisters. Those men and woman who are law abiding, Kor'an abiding citizens of the United States. They've suffered a double loss......the loss of safety in their homes, and the bastardization of a beautiful, peaceful religion. The Kor'an is not a book of hate, and I hope that people begin to see that those culprits are no more truly Islamic then Charles Manson is Jesus Christ.

Lastly, I do ask that you pray for myself, and my various crew members and passangers, and our families who will be worried sick everytime that we get into an aircraft. I offer my prayers to all those who've lost their family members needlessly. May your god shine down upon you, and put lightness in your heart.

May the Gods Bless Us All!!!!!!!
