This is perhaps a silly thread, but what are people's opinions of online tarot readings. Such as Facade (http://facade.com) ?

Well, it's interesting. I just did a FourFold Vision reading for myself and it seemed to be about right. The trouble with it is that you lose all the intuitiveness of a real person doing a reading for you. There's nobody on the other end of the table. No human touch to it. Of course, if you already know what the cards mean, you can ammend the interpretation somewhat, but if you do that, can you be objective?

I think they are a novelty, fun to use sometimes, but if I'm asking a serious question, I'll go to a live person.

I have trouble with those readings... They are all random and very impersonal. If you click on the reading again you get a totally different set of cards. I don't think computer readings can pick up a person's energy and then interpret the results correctly. But thats just my opinion.

I'm very sceptical of online readings. There is no soul behind the dealing of the cards- it is a randomized computer effect. I believe that, when it comes to tarot, the energies travelling thorugh the person who is doing the reading and the person being read, is essential. And I do not find that energy in a computers randomized programming.
