the URL is www.threenorns.co.uk/WTCmemorial/index.html and everyone is welcome.
(the names are from official lists, only -- those released by the fire dept (www.firehouse.com), the dept of defense, and similar such sources, not from newspapers, etc.
if anyone has a picture of someone on the list or knows something about them (other than name and age), i would deeply appreciate the chance to give them all a human face.

A very appropriate and lovely memorial to those lost, thank you. Please visit my memorial and leave your link in the words "add-a-link" section :) http://www.geocities.com/laughingkoala/911.html

i've checked out both sites mentioned above, and they're wonderful!!! (i think i've already seen the Lavender Tower -- my daughter is a fierce anime fan -- my fault -- and an artist of no little skill in the genre).

Oops!
It's there, but it's not real clear - it's under the graphic "words" - theres a section for journal entries, and a section for memorial. I think I'll change that description :) If you want I can add the link - :)

Thanks for the comments. I can't figure out why it would crash browsers unless you're using Netscape (can't stand it myself) - it loads fine in the one version I have that came with the laptop - (NS4 I think) but it comes up with a javascript error... NS is infamous for not liking Javascript, and while I don't use it - geocities does to put the banners on the site. Not my fault - I can't control NS's poor programming! Sorry!

ThreeNorns, Lilu, thank you SOOOOOO much for your sites. They are beautiful.
Threenorns, the star idea was absolutely amazing. Thank you. Oddly enough, last night, i stepped outside, and was looking up at the night sky...and I had a similar idea...
Last night, was SOOOOOOOO clear over here...there were more stars in the sky than I had ever seen ...as long as I can remember, at least. I couldn't get over, how stunningly beautiful the sky was...and all it's stars. And I couldn't help but think, that perhaps the sky was so full of stars, because each of the souls who departed our world in these vicious attacks, became those Stellar beacons. In other words...I would like to think that each person who lost their lives in the attacks, became a star in our heavens. Shining down on us...reminding us of the brevity of life, with its' many blessings, and pointing out a path to peace.
