I recently had a dream-type-thing where a woman (goddess?) called my name, only instead of my name being "beth", it was "jo beth." She sounded (from what little I heard, for that's all she said) like she had a celtic-ish accent. . . so what I'm wondering is-
Is there any kind of prefix like that in gaelic or any scottish or irish dialects? If so, what does it mean?
any clues are appreciated hehe even wild guesses ^^;
if you'd like more info, you can check this thread http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6798
Thanks everyone ^_^

Your path is clear. You must become a Waffle House waitress. Follow your destiny, Jo Beth! And let's have some coffee over here!

Hi, on a more serious note, maybe that's just the name that spirit chose to call you. I have looked thru everything I have Celtic and cannot find any prefix of JO.
I once had a dream too, and a voice spoke to me and said, "Remember my name, Mava". I had never heard of such; infact, I woke up saying the name over and over, remembering she was on horseback with lots of warriors around engaged in some sort of military action. Then, I started reading about Queen Maev and realized it was her.
Good luck and Blessed be!

It is possible that it was not gaelic. If you've ever held a
conversation with an Irishman or a Scot you might notice
that if their accent is true enough, Them Saying: You're, Your or You Are Beth, Could sound very much like Jo Beth.
Hope it helps. :)
