Well this dream I had was very real like I was awake. And There was a women there and I know she was powerful, I can't remeber what she looked like, or her name, but I know she was a goddess, does that make sence? So I yelled at her for making my life and my moms life difficult, she let me yell at her then she said "Well I see your ready for the New Millennium." She said it in an arrogent and lofty voice, and that made me even more upset and I snapped at her and said "There are soo meny freken' dates floating around! Which Millennium?!" And then I woke up, but I felt funny for the rest of my day, like I'm being watched. Any ideas?

I honestly don't know. But I can tell you--I've yelled at a Goddess before. Screamed at her, actually. I didn't get beaten for it. ^_^

yeah, i have dreams like that a lot, not necessarily with goddesses, but more like "so this person i've never seen in real life, but in the dream was my best friend . . . "

don't know, but when i was depressed in high school, i felt like someone was watching me a lot, but i got through it. maybe it's one of those things like that Christian story about the footprints, do you know that one?

Does the dream reflect what you also believe consciously- that it is the Goddess who is responsible for the bad things in your life/ your mothers life?
Maybe the Goddess came to you and let you yell at her, to show you that she is not the one responsible?

Umm I'll have to think about it more, but I have never been more mad in any dream before, and it's odd that I new she was a women of power and I still 'chewed her up one side and down the other' well I will see if she comes back tonight and what not thanks for the thoughts!

Well this dream I had was very real like I was awake. If I may ask, how recent was your dream? In the last 24-48 hours or longer than that?
And There was a women there and I know she was powerful, I can't remeber what she looked like, or her name, but I know she was a goddess, does that make sence? It doesn't have to make since to any of us. It's enough that you felt she was such. I would love to hear if you had any feeling as to which Goddess she might have been? Or perhaps in your path you have a single Goddess.
So I yelled at her for making my life and my moms life difficult, she let me yell at her then she said "Well I see your ready for the New Millennium." She said it in an arrogent and lofty voice, and that made me even more upset and I snapped at her and said "There are soo meny freken' dates floating around! Which Millennium?!"The appearance of a Goddess would likely trigger very strong emotions in anyone.
And then I woke up, but I felt funny for the rest of my day, like I'm being watched. Any ideas? My impression (and that is all I can offer) is that you are upset with forces beyond your control that you see introducing problems into the lives of you and your mother. Either the Goddess did appear to you and allowed you to voice those frustrations as a way of helping you ... or ... your mind created the Goddess for the sake of giving an image to those unseen forces. The facts that the Goddess did not identify herself and you cannot remember many features about her, leads me to believe she was a creation of your own mind. The brain did not bother giving her outstanding features or a name because she represents many different sources of your frustration.
Hope this provides some things to consider. Let us know of your own relfections.

Not to worry. She is perfectly capable of yelling back if she wants to.

maybe the godess is an aspect of the mother archetype, your rln w/ your mother was screwy in the dream...the new millenium could be the dawning of a new life, independence not necc in a physical sense but in a freedom from your mother's imprint on you, or your role as a mother figure....??

I'm getting that she is actually telling you that YOU are responsible.
"I see you're ready for the next Millenium"
This tells me that she sees that you needed to blow off steam in order to pass to the next stage in your journey. You see what you don't want and are ready to work on what you do want.
And I've yelled at deity as well with no ill effects. In fact, things usually changed immediately, but I had to take responsibility for changing them.
Your dream makes perfect sense to me since it arrived around the new year. Pay attention to the dreams you have in coming weeks for the answers.

The first thing that comes to my mind is that you were yelling at an aspect of yourself. Does this not make sense to you?
