DO you think there really could be "invisible" people.. not like Harry-Potter-Invisibilty-cloaks invisble, but as in those people that just aren't noticable unless you try. (For any Dark Angel fans, its like the episode with Brain.. he's standing right there, yet no one sees him..)
for example:
When i'm with a group of people, or even in a group of three, i tend to get over looked.. not that i want all the attention on me.. gods know i'd hate that, but i can say something as part of a conversation, and no one will hear it, which is odd considering what a loudmouth i am.
Unless i'm one on one with someone, people just tend not to notice me. Hell, i had a friend once stand almost in frount of me and ask where i was one time.. but that could have been casue i was wearing white for once in my life.
Like i said, i would hate to be noticed all the time, but there are times when being "invisible" sucks...

Well I guess you could say that there are "invisible" people in the sense that they so get over-looked and not payed attention to. you just have to stand out a little bit more than others here in the world because everybody wants the attention. lol.

yeah, they exist. when i was in college, some girl came up to me in the cafeteria and started talking to me like she knew me. i had no idea who she was, but she seemed familiar, so i talked to her anyway, thinking maybe she was new to the karate club. it turns out she was a friend of my roommate who i previously had not noticed. it was really strange, because i was just blabbing on about karate club people, and she never said "who's that?" or anything of the kind.

I think it all depends how you project yourself. After a while, if you feel ignored and invisible, people tend to notice you less and less and less. Happens to me sometimes.

I think I'm invisible (well, a lot of the time anyway...). For example, I will go into a room to get something but for some reason I have a tendency to scare people. Story time: I went to get some paper for my printer from my dad's office. Dad was sitting in there doing something at his desk and I just walked in and got paper. (I wasn't trying to be quiet or anything at all). He turned around while I was leaving and he jumped two feet in the air all freaked out like. This same type of event has happened many times and with different people too. Its a little weird I suppose... >.>
heh, that happens to me too.. i can walk in a room and say something and sometimes they still won't notice it

When I first saw the title, I thought you were referring to the tribe in the Amazon that refers to themselves as The Invisible People. The film "The Emerald Forest" depicted them... Great movie if you can still find it...
Oh, and Sting wrote a song about them too ~ it was either "Fragile" or "They Stand Alone."

It's kind of funny, because I feel as if I'm almost always invisible when I want to be. Like if I don't want to talk to anyone, because I'm sad or depressed, not only to people not even bother me, it's as if they don't even see me.

What happens with me is kind of like a cross between the two... I'm 6'6", chunky, and I have a very intense presence....except when I'm bored. When I'm bored, my presence just fades away, and afterward people accuse me of 'going invisible'! I myself notice that time seems to fade by somewhat swiftly until I'm interested in something again,, but I'm not sure that I'm exactly 'doing it' on purpose...

No, I get that.
Sometimes, a lot, I feel that way.
I feel invisible.
I've been in Northern CA for a year and more now and I still can count the acquaintances I've made on one hand. I have only one real friend in the normal sense, and in a very real way I feel like life is passing me by. I walk around. I do all these "social" things. I go to coffee shops and bookstores, and yet for the most part?
It's like I don't exist.
I'm semi-disabled now and I really like that has made a huge difference in how people see me. It's like you're garbage all of a sudden instead of human. People don't want to hire you, and socially they don't think you can keep up with them.
So they don't even talk to you half the time.
Guys?
I can't remember the last time one really looked.
The cane is one heck of a turn off I guess...

I can blend in and not be noticed if I want to. Other times I can be the first person noticed in a crowd. It really depends on how I'm feeling that day.

I used to be like that. I was really shy when I was younger. These days, when I'm invisible, it's on purpose. Although, sometimes my grandmother overlooks me, which is odd, but I'm a loud-mouth anymore, so I let her know about her "neglect." ;)

Weird I'm just the opposite, I have people remember me even 20 years later who I have no clue as to who they are.

There's actually a spell you can cast that has this effect. It makes you unnoticeable. I'm sure there's a spell you can cast that will make you more noticeable again. I'll check my BOS and see if I can find one.

Hmm I'm like that ....I need a "notice me" spell that will get everyone to notice me, but in a good way.

i am exactly the opposite, i decided about two years ago, that i was fed up with following the crowd, so i decided to be myself.
i dress my own way, no-one can label me and people always say that there is no one in the whole world like me.
people stare at me in the streets, and i love it because im being different, and it scares people.
i dont dress weird, i go to all the normal shops and things but i just look different.
im always the person that gets there name remembered, people know who i am before i even begin to recognise others and im quite a loud person too
i tend to say what im thinking before i think what im saying, lol.
wen i was younger though, i had a lot of problems at home and school, and from the age of about 4 to 11 i used to sit in a corner of the playground at school and just watch people, no-one really noticed me then though. its weird isnt it.
i once did a little experiment in a big shopping centre, i walked quite fast swinging my arms lightlyand everyone moved ou my way (im only 5 ft tall, lol) then i walked slowly with my arms folded, and people kepy knocking me over, and walking right through me. just goes to show how active confident gets you noticed.

I can relate sometimes I feel invisible which is odd because when I dont want attention (which is pretty much all the time) I get it, and when I want attention (when I'm trying to say something or get a point across) it's like I'm invisible. I can walk into a room and feel all eyes on me and it freaks me out, then lately when I'm with someone else, like a friend for instance it's like I'm not even there. My best friend and I went looking at rings at the mall(she's looking an engagement ring) the sales guy started asking her all kinds of question that had nothing to do with rings or jewelry, and never once even looked at me. Then twice she was approach by gym recruiters, they handed her stuff for gym membership and totally didnt even glance at me, not even once.

I have the exact same problem. When I was young, I used to love being invisible so I wouldn't be the focus of negative attention. Now it's just a detriment to my social life. You are not alone my invisible friend.

I know you can be overlooked when you want to. If you know how to blend in . As far as invisible?
