I Got A Ghost And I Want It Gone !

i have an orb ghost hanging around me , and my brother seems to think i did it ,
so if you know any ways to get rid of it then please let me know. i want to try to get rid of it without "hurting" it or anything , so i tried to tell it to just stay out of my pics but my brother still saw it in one and now i need to get rid of it even tho i dont think that it is
harming my family or me in anyway. all help is apriciated

Firstly, sorry, havent a clue as to how you would get it to move on, but really, how cool to have a ghost hangigng around. What is an orb ghost, and how do you see it? Ghosts fascinate me, so I had to ask.

First, are you sure its a ghost and not some trick of light? I am still on the belief that if you can't see it with the naked eye, it doesn't exist.

If it is actually a ghost, look at it and tell it to go away. Tell it this is my home, area, etc and that it is not welcome, to please leave quietly. I've had to do this before and it works. Sometimes though you get the stubborn ones who don't leave right away. Just keep telling it to leave without getting mad or angry with it.

I always heard you tell them to leave, go to the light, w/e :lol: I just say " I don't want to play" and the two I've seen left.

If you're refering to photos, it's not always ghosts, as just spirits/guardians or maybe just something passing by. Usually it's just an odd reflection of light.

Heres a trick to try. Stand in total darkness and ask your brother to take your picture without the flash.

If it truely is a ghost, it will show up glowing in the picture.

yeah , im sure it was a ghost , beacuse when i was taking my formal pictures , it always stayed in the same spot on my date , no matter where we were standing or what angle the pic was taken, Thanks for the advice, i dont know what id ever do without yall ,your so helpful

If you are positive it is a ghost, make sure its not your guide, you don't wanna get rid of your guilde as they are usually very helpful. Burn some sage in a censor and cleanse yourself of the negative energy around you by using a feather to dispense the smoke around you. That should get rid of it.

Perhaps it's not your ghost/spirit/whatever, but your date's.

But yeah, get your camera checked before you start doing anything ...

Try a different camera or a digital camera, if it is showing up on a digi cam, do another camera...If it's still there let us know...

Exactly. Condensation is a major source of "paranormal sightings".

If I had an orb around, I'd start by taking out a different camera (e.g. Canon i90s), load some fresh Tmax and start bracketing the shots, esp. with diffuser and mid-range filters. If you or a colleague has a thermal imager (or even a night-vision camcorder), try looking at the capture from that.

It doesn't sound like it's a problem and you didn't say you felt anything negative from it. You can try telling it to stay out of the photos now that you know it's there. Personally, I'd let it stay, but then, I'm also the type that lets neighbours borrow things.

Well if it is a ghost then I heard somewhere that you should wear silver because it is supposed to be a deterrent to spirits. Oh and to keep it from your home/room then you should sprinkle salt in all the corners of your room. But you know if it is a ghost and it is doing you no harm and if you aren't scared of it then why get rid of it?? After all every body needs a little company now and again. :hahugh:

Someone in the Gingerwitches thread tried that, and I think in her words she sorta "blipped over" the salt, and got through salt on thresholds with difficulty, but not impossibility.

I've got another solution if you're comfortable with it. Get a psi-vamp to take care of it. I've found spirits aren't too keen on hanging around energy-drainers.

Well...spirits can come and leave whenever they want. Their could be 5 in ure room right now, or none, and one could of just come in, and one left...ya know what I mean?
If its hanging around it may be a protective spirit or someone who wants to take care of something.

i have an orb hanging around in my room.. several different pictures it's been in. i think it's my gma that passed away in october. my cat likes to scare the shizniz out of me by just staring at them. and watching them move around the room.

i've told a spirit to go away before, but it didn't. then i just lived with it in peace. i told it to please not bother me, though.

I don't think it's around for a bad reason...

Maybe your grandmother's spirit or great grandmother's? I think spirits have messages for us, good and bad ones. They do not mean to scare... it just depends on how urgent their message is... or how of great importance it is.

My suggestion is, open your mind and heart and listen... ask the spirit to show you.

If it *is* real, (and I don't know wtf an "orb ghost" is) and it's not bothering you, then you have nothing to worry about. It may be serving a positive purpose you aren't even aware of.

i have a spell book called the encyclopedia of 5000 spells by judika illies it had a whole section on geting rid of ghosts..

one said to burn dried powdered bistort to banish ghosts.. wafting teh fragrance as needed..
another was a coffe spell.. it said burning ground coffee repels ghosts and melevolant spiritual enitities.. it is important to use real coffee (not instant) and the stronger the coffee the better (no decafe)

the other thing you vould try is talking to it find out why its always with you and what it wants.. maybe it needs help before it leaves.. personally i wouldnt be trying to get rid of it if its not a trouble maker..why is it such a problem for your bro.. i would be happy to know something/someone was watching over my family members.. and if it showed in pics so be it.. its not a big deal, its not harming anyone so why worry..

... I doubt that they're spells "hundreds of years old", hon. Even if "witches" had been literate, which almost no common people were, hundreds of years ago... even if they *had* been able to keep records, I'm pretty sure such records would have been destroyed upon discovery, and wouldn't have survived to the modern day. Let alone for an unheard of author who probably is not a historian with access to such relics. And if her sources were online, well, we all know how accurate the online world can be ;)

Burning coffee grounds will pretty much banish anybody ...

You gotta make sure that what you're wanting gone actually needs to be gone ... and don't leave a vacant energy space if you do do a banishing. Something NASTY can move in.

Well I don't think it will acually make them leave perminatly (ghosts that is) now that I think about it I think it was more to protect you from them trying to take over you or harm you not to scare them away. You see I started with this idea when I first got into pagan stuff cause freaky s*** has happened to me all my life and I just wanted a little more security not to stop them from coming at all. I have to admit that while it scares the bejebus out of me I am still fascinated by it and want to see more. I first read it in this book called.... Ummmm I think it was "A witch's guide to ghosts and the super natural" By.......Gerina Dunwitch?? in the section on how to protect yourself when going into a seance or experimenting with a ougi (can't spell) board. As to how reliable.... I dunn it seems to have worked for me and so if it's not broke, don't fix it.
