I've seen 3 sites today hosted by Drak.Net that are down (including my own), so does anyone know if Drak is having problems?

Qwest is having problems. It came across the PWA list just this afternoon. It's not you, dear. :D

Too, keep in mind that their freeserver "expires" on the 30th ~ so any addresses left there are going to be wiped out.

As of this afternoon I haven't been able to get into my drakmail account, they're probably just having some server problems. Although I had heard that they were discontinuing their free sites. I hope they didn't include their free email in that.

I knew they discontinued new free space applications, but I thought they were going to keep up the free service for already existing accounts. Hmmm, I know a coven who's website is hosted on Drak.net. I wonder if they have plans to move yet?

Well they have been keeping the free space just not taking accounts for a LOOOOOOONG time (as in well over a year if I remember correctly). I bet it eats up a whole lot of their space and bandwidth, and thus their $$

Dark.net sent out an email about their webservers being hit hard by the new worm thats going around. So you will likely experience a lot of performance problems.
