Hrm...I'd say this being my first post here, it definetly includes me in the newbie category. I beleive I have a complicated situation, or it might be the drama queen in me coming out.
I was raised as an orthodox jew. When I say orthodox, I mean the only schools I have ever attended have been, and are duel curriculum day schools. I attend a day highschool now, and I have 9 classes- 4 religious, and 5 secular. The worst part of this is I have never truly accepted the religion.
I don't pray. I don't uphold the practices. I don't agree with much of the religion's opinions. The problem is that I certainly gravitate towards paganism when dealing with theology, mostly nordic/druidic traditions, some wicca- but I have no way to truly learn about these things. I'm almost here looking for someone to start me...excuse the pun, to start me on the right path.
I don't know much about anything. I have certain dieties I find entruiging, and feel connecte to, but most knoweledge ends there (except for an affinity with Nordic Runes) I really need some teachers, or atleast something to start from.
Once that's said, I need to clarify why this has been so difficult for me. My parents don't understand, and highly encourage to end this little "phase"... It's not a phase, since the quest for a religion I can relate to began when I was 12. I really don't know what to do.
