But in a good way. Last night i had a breakthrough - I've been working with the tarot for several years, off and on, and for the last 6 months, i have taken it to a deeper level of study and practice. Last night i set up, did my thing, and started to lay down my spread. I felt this wave of calm, confidence and control. Everything started to click, it was like i was looking out of someone elses eyes and using someone elses brain. I'm sure this sounds a little psycho, but i was very excited. I felt connected to something deep inside and something far away from me at the same time. Anyhoo. It was great. Kind of makes you feel like the hard work and effort you put into it, is paying off. Anyone ever had this experience or a similar experience?

YES! I call it my zone. Sometimes when I read cards I don't feel so connected maybe because Im bunged with stress or sleeplessness or whatever reason, BUT sometimes I sit down and wham Im sucked up into this comfortable little roll of energy and everything flows...the meanings and pictures in my mind, the emotions that come with it all. Its a good feeling so if you are getting it then continue!

Yes I have done spreads where as soon as I lay the cards down it is like they are in bright colour and each card truely weaves in with the next to create a story. The true meaning of the cards is revealed to me without much effort. And then there are times when I look at the cards, shake my head, and think "what the"?
