Just making Mugwort tea and drinking it will help with divination...also burning some as incense and inhaling it will also help with divination and dreams, as well.

Make a sleep pillow out of mugwort, if you want...personally I'd add some other relaxing herbs like maybe scullcap or valerian.

Hope this helps

JMO and YMMV

Ooooh. Lavender is also good in a sleep pillow. :)

yeah--the only reason I didn't recommend it is that I'm one of the rare minority that lavendar makes nauseous.

I make little sachets of chamomile and lavender. Alot of lavender though. I give them to everyone w/sleeping problems and they say it has helped. My husband and I each have one tucked between pillow and pillowcase. It is calming and makes us sleepy.

I usually make herbal smudges rather than teas or infusions. Mugwort has a very interesting scent when it's burned, and does mix well with lavender. Since you specifically listed mugwort, yarrow, thyme and sage I would guess you have those herbs available. I would just mix a pinch or two of each one together and then burn the mixture and breathe the smoke. (Probably not a good idea if you have respiratory problems like asthma.) One thing I have found very interesting is that putting my herbs out under the light of the full (or nearly full) moon seems to "enhance" the energies. I'd put my mixtrue out under the moon in a glass jar and ask the Lady to charge it with her energies so that I might dream clearly and true. Then burn a small quantity of the mixture and inhale the smoke just before bedtime. Or at the very least, make sure to charge your mixture of herbs with the intent that they enable you to dream clearly and true, and be able to remember the dream when you awaken.

I think of thyme as rather stimulating. Is there a reason you need to include it?

I always keep a few mugwort leaves with my crystal ball and my tarot deck.
