Hello Everyone,
I'm brand new to this site. I have a spell-related question. I have been harrassed through the mail by someone on and off for about 4 years. I do not know know who this person is. The letters are usually short and range from innanely cryptic (i.e. magazine clippings that have absolutely no meaning to me as far as I can determine) to being upsetting (obscene name calling) to references to family members in my town. It is clearly someone who knows who I am and who doesn't like me- but who wants me to think they know me better than they actually do. Can anyone shed some wisdom about spells that will help to unmask this person? Thank you for your assistance!

er...i would probably call the police. if you've received a number of these, hopefully you have kept them and can turn them over.
spells are great, but i'd worry about common sense action first.

I have to agree. There are all kinds of protection spells around and, while you should certainly use one, remember this. The deities look most favorably on and are most likely to help those who first expend every reasonable effort to help themselves. If it is a problem you can solve with some common sense and effort on your own part, they are likely to wonder why you are bothering them with something you should have taken care of yourself.
So, yes, do inform the police and show them any evidence you have. Also, try to get the person's license plate number if you can without exposing yourself to danger. If you have a "big brother", take him with you and have him tell the fruitcake in a very calm way that you all have his license plate number and know who he is and that if he does not knock it off he will reap the displeasure of your family, friends and the police. Take two "brothers" if you think is is wise. Remember, the point is intimidation, not to start a fight, so be sure and have a much stronger force with you. Men who pick on women are usually cowards and I believe this one will tuck tail and run when faced by a man.
That should do it.

Might get a more specific response in the Magic and Rituals forum.

1. Yes, call the cops & turn over copies of the evidence (or turn over the originals, but keep copies for yourself).
2. I don't personally have a spell for unmasking things, but I would suggest trying maybe a justice spell that this person get caught, and I'd do a protection spell for your person & home. Also, when you get these things, I'd put them away in a file (after giving the police a copy) & stick that in a drawer or someplace that you won't see them all the time to remind you of this creepiness, then I'd just do a little cleansing to get the negative energy this kinda bs creates outta your space.

call your police.
if you really want something extra, make a protection amulet or charm. And carry that spray thingie that you spray attackers that makes their eyes burn (i forget the name for that)... just in case... better safe than sorry...

If you want to take police action, then I think that's a good idea. You could also look into ways of blocking the email address(es) and talk to the email provider. They might be able to help.
But often people like this are just doing it for attention. If you decide to not involve the police, then just don't respond to the emails or even open them. Get a new email address. If you respond to the emails, or even make it an issue, then you're just playing into their hands. It's no fun for them if you don't play.

I agree with the posts above. You should contact Your Local Authorities and try other avenues before turning to a spell to solve Your problem.

Tyre is good for justice but I don't mess with him, myself. I am too full of faults and I don't think I really want justice.
But!!!
Be very, very careful of ever asking for justice because you just may get it. If you ask for justice, be absolutely certain you come before the deities with "clean hands". Did you ever do anything what-so-ever to bring this on yourself? Perhaps, so long ago that you forgot it did you ever flirt with or encourage this person? If so, DON'T ASK FOR JUSTICE! Did you ever tease or bedevil someone unfairly? If so, DON'T ASK FOR JUSTICE!
Personally, I don't want justice. I want favoritism. Best ask for that.

Thanks for this suggestion. Any advice on usage? Do I spray it on the note itself? On me? Around my home?

Regarding "It is clearly someone who knows who I am and who doesn't like me" -- Sounds potentially dangerous.
The following is potentially helpful. :)
"WHOA is a volunteer organization founded in 1997 to fight online harassment through education of the general public, education of law enforcement personnel, and empowerment of victims. ...
Our volunteers work with people currently experiencing online harassment, and help others to learn how to avoid such harassment or minimize its impact if it does occur."

Thanks for the link. Do they also handle snail mail situations? That is what I've been experiencing.

Snail mail only? Not that I know of but many of the guidelines or tips are still applicable.
