Yellow dock?

A little something I am interested in doing (an energy spell under the sign of leo to be precise...) calls for the herb yellow dock. Can't say I've heard of it before, and I haven't seen any anywhere! Is this a common herb? Also is there any kind of herb that I could use a substitute? Thanks in advance.

Yellow dock is quite common in magic where I come from. It is also quite cheap. Here is a place that I have used. They are nice. 1 pound is a lot of stuff.

What's Yellow Dock good for (medical, magical, whatever)?

Yellow Dock can be used as an astringent and is used for chronic skin diseases like psoriasis,herpes,eczema,acne,and reduces itching. It can be used to treat swollen tonsils and hemorroids :whatgives ,effective for cancer and acute leukemia. It can also be used to stop heavy bleeding. :thumbsup:

As for magickal uses.....the seeds are used in money spells and money incenses. Tied to the left arm of a woman to help her conceive a child,or made into an infusion and sprinkled around a buisness to attract customers.
