I'm in the mood and alot of changes are going on around here, we're moving and are going to start looking for a house of our own :nonono: and moving again by the end of the year, not to mention I've been having dreams of something that I can't quite pin down but it feels important, I think someone is coming to visit. Anyways one on either of those topics or in general would really be appreciated. :D thanks in advance :D

SAHM, in addition to the reading by Semele, I'd be glad to do one for you if you have AIM or some other instant message program. Just let me know!

Sorry Danustouch, I don't do instant messaging or I might not get off the computer all day and my baby wouldn't like that :( :). But thank you for the offer :D

Ok I am doing a Spiritual Guidance spread for you. It is an 8 card spread layed out like this:

2 3 4 5 6 7 8
1
( I couldn't get this to come out right...the 1 is supposed to be directly under the 5)

Card #1: Main focus or concern.

Queen of Wands: She is comfortable with life and loves all things. She is honest and has no use for deceit. She sits on her throne with her black cat at her feet. The cat is seen, by me, as a guide or protector. Someone or something that you may not always be consciously aware of, but it remains still the same. Maybe you are becoming more aware of your guide/guides now...perhaps through the dreams you spoke about.

Card #2: Motivation behind your desire.

Nine of Pentacles: The nines are generally about sacrifice and tough decisions. Given the suit this card portrays, I would say this is about looking inward to pursue your goals. To be happy and achieve the kind of success you desire you have to look inward and realise your own potential. This card speaks of not only material succes, but also the success that comes from looking back and knowing you made the right choice at the right time...for you. There may be sacrifices you have to make to get here, but they will be worth it. In this position I would guess that this move has been on your mind and you have been weighing the benefits and risks. Maybe even the dreams have something to do with it.

Card #3: Underlying problems

Ace of Cups: Wow, its hard to see this card as a problem at all, as it is about a gift of love and happiness. It has Yods, (the first letter of god's ineffible name) falling all around. This indicates that it is a gift from the Gods. The only way I can see this as a problem would be that it is a gift that you can only accept or deny....in no way can you mold it or modify it to better fit your needs. Perhaps you are being pulled to do something but aren't exactly happy with the route you have to take. Or maybe you are impatiently awaiting for it to come to fruition. Either way, I would say just let go and accept the gift and enjoy the ride!

Card #4: What you need to understand but may be unaware of.

Six of Swords: Well on a basic level this could be talking about a journey by water...or a quiet passage through difficult times. As I have said before of this card, I think it is telling us that our past troubles and hardships, (the swords in the boat) don't have to weigh us down, as the boat is still afloat. Sure it would be easier to steer the boat if we were to cast off the swords, but they may serve a purpose later. Meaning that your past problems and those experiences will offer some value at a later date. In this position I would say that maybe you have been trying too hard to forget your past struggles and move on, when in fact you may need to take those memories with you and put them to use.

Card #5: What you need to do to come to terms with the problem, best course of action.

Eight of Swords: Wow, another sword card. I would guess that you have had a hard time in the past and that you feel at times overwhelmed by this. This card is about a woman who feels she is trapped, although she really isn't. She is blindfolded but nothing stops her from tearing away the blindfold and realising she isn't really trapped at all. You have to let go of the pain and fear of losing in life. Tear away that blindfold and look at life head on. Once you do this you can walk away from the swords that you thought were trapping you and pick them up out of the ground and take them with you on your journey...(see card above) This really ties in with the previous card. This is the most clear cut answer I have ever seen to the question in this position.

Card #6: The best way to use this advice.

Strength: Awesome!!! This is one of my very favorite cards. In case you aren't familiar with this card it shows a lady who is petting a lion. The lion is making that cat face that says "oh yeah scratch my ears" eyes closed tongue out..in total bliss and he would likely do anything for you. This is a card about soft control. Kind of the old analogy that if two dog trainers were before you and both dogs are very obiedient. One trainer uses rewards and positive praise and the other trainer whips his dog into submission. They both are obidient but only one of these trainers has to really fear that his dog will turn on him. With love and genuine kindness we can mold situations and people into helping us. To me this is saying that while you need to carry with you the experiences your swords represent, try not to be hardened by them. Remember the pain but don't inflict it on others, even if they are the cause of those swords. Gentle strength will be the answer!

Card #7: Guidance for the future.

Nine of Swords: Another sword...you jaded lady you!!! ;) I would say that this is telling you to listen to your dreams. It shows a person who can't sleep...swords are above the head. Something is keeping you up at night...perhaps these dreams. In this position I really sense that you are being told to listen to these dreams. First the black cat and now this....wow you are in for some fun enlightenment!! Good Luck!!

Card #8: Ultimate Achievement.

Five of Wands: This is a card of some young folks banging their wands together. At first glance it looks like a real battle, but on a second look we see that the players are "fighting" for the sheer joy of it, not trying to really hurt each other. Kind of like small kittens and puppies...and well...kids do. Testing the boundaries and learning in the process. Looks like your family is growing and learning with each other. This tells me that ultimately this play fighting will be your major concern. Nothing else will be going on serious enough to thwart play time with loved ones. Looks like a good outcome to me. Hang in there girl!!

Let me know how this works for you. Also if you want, I do have a dream spread as well. You would just have to pick a significator or card that represents your dream. Let me know.

 I had to get my husband's deck out for this one so I could see it.

This is so me :) The cat thing is interesting.

This has been coming up alot in readings, looking inward. And i've been having alot of personal spiritual growth, this year has been the first I've taken paganism very seriously.

Hmmmmmm and yes I'm very impatient about good things coming to fruition.

I've recently gotten over a big past problem and I have been trying to forget it.

Card #5: What you need to do to come to terms with the problem, best course of action.

Hard times in the past is putting it lightly. I have a big fear of doing something wrong or losing. I get it, take chances and make mistakes and be bold. But don't let it get you down. :)

OK This just happened to me last night. When I lose it I yell and get very angry. I was thinking about it today and that I have to get a handle on this.

I always fear this card but you have made me see it in a different way. I have a fear of losing loved ones and this card always makes me think of death and sadness. FUn enlightenment would be very nice. :D

That's great! And I can see how all of this ties into family growth. I've also felt like all that positive karma we've been putting out is coming back to us. This was a great reading, Thank you so much Semele :) I think this is the first time you've done it for me and you hit the nail on the head.

I don't think I can pick a card to represent my dream. I don't know the deck that well. My dreams seem to be slowly getting clearer and then just waking up with a feeling and not remembering. They go back and forth. But thank you for the offer. :)

Thanks again Semele :D

here, I did a quick "general" reading for you. . .

although I'm kinda fuzzy brained today, here's what I gleaned ^_~

things should be slowing down soon, getting more comfortable and relaxing. Money should become easier to handle, although it will take a bit of a challenge to get there. I think something might happen just before your move, not plesant, but something deal-with-able. . . then the move looks good.

lol that's all I got. My brain's half asleep, so if I'm waaay off, well, that's why ^^;; hehe.

Thanx Puma! :D

WooHoo! More relaxing! I can't wait! Money will be getting more easier to handle because i won't have to pay rent for at least a month, maybe 2. My challenge with money is probably trying to pay all the bills today and put down the new address.

We found out Sat that our pagan community center also needs to move this week by Thurs and we are going to help out with that too.

You did great, even with a cloudy brain! Thank you! :D

please no more readings, I've got alot to do this week so I won't be able to answer them for awhile. :)
