Merry meet all!

This is my first Mabon and I have no plans. For all of the other holidays, since last Beltane, I have researched each holiday, prepared a special meal and did some activites with my family. This time, between my DD's birthday, today, birthday party, tomorrow, and the events of last week, I haven't had the time or mental energy to do anything about it. I am still hoping to celebrate in some way on Sunday, even if it is to just light a special candle and say a prayer.

So what special plans do all of you have?

Chris

Hey Chryssi!

My husband and I have not decided on what to do for Mabon. We were going to do our own ritual, but now thinking of attending the Pagan Community Church's Mabon Ritual being held at a state park in Connecticut this Saturday. Sometimes it is nice to celebrate with a group! Hope you have a wonderful Mabon!

Our church is celebrating this weekend and focusing on the inner reflection that starts around this time. Starting the seasonal process of it sooner, actually, because of the War.

I live in such a small town that the nearest Pagan chirch would be a three hour drive from here. And I don't drive... yet... So for Mabon this year I just took a walk in the woods, gathered a bowl of leaves for the center of the table, and had a lovely feast with a few friends.

Sadly due to heavy homework loads, and working all the time I forgot all about Mabon. I feel so horrible now. I just have no time to myself anymore to meditate or to learn more aspects of Wicca/Witchcraft.

...That and I've been focusing on Samhain as it's my favorite Sabbat.

I also want to wish to everyone a Happy Mabon. Enjoy yourselves ;)

I'll be celebrating Mabon and my birthday with a night out on the town dancing with a couple girlfriends. I also plan to have a small ceremonial circle this afternoon with my son to teach him of the Lesser Sabbat.

Have a Great Mabon! :D

I'm upset because my father, he seems to be so anti-pagan now, dissaproved of my Mabon plans and made my babysit my sister for the whole day. I tried to teache her about the Sabbat beforehand so she could participate with what I had planned, but she was so stuck in her ways... that was one of the worst Mabon's I have ever had! I'll stop ranting now... never mind me...
