I suffer from clinical depression. I'm not ashamed of it and I have been praying for help with the disease. But recently, I got so depressed that I had to admit myself into a hospital to prevent myself from hurting myself.
Well, the second night I was there, Mother Isis came to me in a dream. She looked at my scars and she saw the heaviness of my heart. She said, "My child, what have you done? This is not what I want for you. You have been blessed with many gift and yet you squander them away in your own self-destruction. Arise and show me that I have not wasted my gifts on you. As you have faith in me, I have faith in you!"
Needless to say, the very next day, I was out of the hospital and I've felt as good as I used to feel before I was put through the 3 years of abuse that cursed me with this disease.
I just thought I would share that with everyone.
Blessed Be,

Emerald ShadowCat... I really needed to read that right now... I have not being doing well, myself. I have been out of therapy and medication for the last 3 1/2 years (being clinically diagnosed as a manic-depressant), and in the past, when I have entered these periods of darkness, I have been able to pull myself out. But the last two months have been really hard for me, and I have actually contemplated suicide from time to time... I have started to feel my Mothers, Pele and Yemaya, have left me behind. I needed the reminder that they are with me... Thank you, so much.

Emraldshadowcat...Merry Meet.....

Even since I was young, when I have been lonely, sad, depressed, I would call on Isis, and always felt Her warmth and love... She's never let me down... One of the most emotional times of my life was when I dedicated myself to Her...

We were made to be strong, proud and free, we are children of God and Goddess, and we are special, never forget that.... we have the spark of the divine within us, we were made to be beautiful...brothers and sisters to the stars.

Keep your head up, kneel to no one, be strong...

May Isis enfold you in Her wings and keep you safe.
Blessed Be

A Friend is someone who hears the song in your heart, and who sings it back to you when your memory fails

Merry Meet Again Emraldshadowcat, you have lots of friends...
May I share a poem I wrote regarding my personal relationship with Isis? I hope you like it...
The Gift
Esbat night, I await the full and rising moon
but deep clouds and rain have seized the sky.
Sad and alone, slowly I bide thick molasses time.
The earth's turning fast but I slow to a crawl,
the glow of my hope slowly fading to gray.
When the candle of my heart starts to flicker
the wind of disappointment is blowing it out.
I pray to Isis, eternally old, eternally young,
"Please hear my plea, Isis come to me now."
My heart yearns... it pierces the clouds...
"Show me Your grace Your beauty and love...
take my love now for it waits here below,
fill me with light and show me Your grace..."
Isis hears... the dark clouds, fading, they wither
thinning and shaping, they open, transform.
My arms and my soul are standing outstretched
I offer myself, heart wide open I embrace the light,
and Isis looks down revealed to Her son,
Her sky-filling wings like bright silver lace
She opens embracing, our love intertwines
fulfilled and complete now, Goddess and child,
we reach out and meet in a bright feathered sky.
With joy I give Her my burning heart candle
She smiles in return, and gives me the stars.

Thats my gift to you...
Blessed Be
