View Full Version : A Letter From Goddess and the Planet

Earth Walker

I thought this title would grab your attention.
I have been a spiritual person and witch my entire life,
almost half a century in Earth time. I have seen many
things, and communicated with the Creatrix and Her
creation throughout my journey.
As a witch, I am fully involved in all aspects of life on
this planet, not just the invisible realms or spiritual
matters. It is all spiritual matter. There is no
distinction between your spiritual life and your physical
life. It is all one and the same. Ignorance of either is no
excuse when it comes to the development of the soul.
As I look around the planet and speak to Gaia, the Earth
Goddess, in my universal medicine wheel, I am disturbed
at what is revealed to me.
So is the planet; so is the Creatrix.
Surely you have taken pause in your life at some point to
wonder, "What does Goddess think about all this?"
Once upon a time the Earth was beautiful. The air was fresh
and full of oxygen. The planets were healthy and disease-free.
The animals were free to roam and grow naturally.
People were given all they ever could need to have long healthy
lives of happiness and freedom. Life was meant to be a joy
and pleasurable. The purpose of life is to be happy and live one's
spiritual truth in complete freedom and harmony with the
natural world.
Now, today, we have air pollution so severe that breath itself
is becoming a treasure to some people.
Allergies, respiratory disease, countries where people must
wear masks in order to go outdoors.
Global warming caused by our greed and disrespect for the
environment. Animals dying of mysterious brain diseases
without cures or being burned and purged for fear of economic
losses. Butterflys going extinct in areas, sparrows off course,
birds dropping dead out of the sky, fish with mercury poisoning.
Water scarce and polluted with all kinds of chemicals and waste.
Trees suffering blight, extinction, and overcutting. Parents
disconnected from children. Children killing children.
Women being abused and tortured worldwide.
The list goes on and on.
How do you feel? Do you think all of this leaves you unaffected?
Have a depressed feeling that you cannot explain?
Lack of motivation? Hope? Joy?
It is because we have fallen out of the circle of interdependent
life. In our greed and supposed superiority to nature, we have
destroyed our very home. Nothing can happen to the simplest
of creation without our bodies feeling it too.
We are, after all, an integral part of the circle of life.
We all share the same DNA as the trees, stones, and animals.
What happens to one happens to the other.
Chief Seattle said it best: "Without the animals, people would
die of a lonely spirit."
Mother Earth is sad. She is also angry at Her children.
Every day She warns us, "Please stop, please come back to me,"
but no one hears Her voice.
Despite Her earthquakes, fires, floods, and pestilence, Her voice
goes unheard by many. Check out the news and see how
escalated the earth cleansing has become. There is not a week
that passes that several earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, and
more come to scream, "Stop it!"
Yet like the tree that falls in the empty forest, no one hears it.
Humans have become fleas on a dog's back to Mother Earth,
and She knows that She must shake them off.
Look at all the disease plaguing the human race today.
HIV, AIDS, brain disorders, cancers of all kinds, malaria, Ebola, diabetes, TB -- need I continue.
Black Elk taught long ago that every time we drill into Mother Earth or do something dastardly to Her, She releases a new
disease meant merely to protect Herself.
Have we humans learned from it? Sun Bear said that eventually
everyone would die from some form of cancer because of what
we are doing to the Earth. Look around.
I started this day in my wheel burning some sage and offering
some prayers to the Goddess. I asked, "What am I to do today?"
I know I will do my daily radio show and continue informing the
world of the situation at hand, but then I was directed to write
a letter to the world. It is not my intention to cause fear; if you
are experiencing fear as a result of this posting, then I suggest
that you ask yourself why. I am just a messenger, a voice for
the planet, another soul on a sojourn.
Many of you have your own idea as to what "Goddess" is.
For me, it is the voice within that speaks with me, walks along-
side me, and guides most of my life. It is the sun in the sky,
the rocks in my wheel, the birds in my yard, the smile on my
niece's faces.
Goddess speaks to me now just as when I was a child.
Many think that Goddess is absent. Well, I can tell you that
Goddess is present and not happy with us.
Like a disillusioned parent, Goddess is assessing us "children."
What have we done with our lives? The gifts given us?
The beautiful home provided us? Look around.
For the spiritually enlightened, there is good news.
For the people full of hate and greed, the news is pretty grim.
The reality they are creating is a reality they will have to live in
and reincarnate into time and again until they have learned
how to live with nature and in a sacred manner.
For some, life will become a living hell, as they continue living in
their own pollution, filth, and hateful societies for centuries to
come. The Earth will surely continue on, but with a lot less people,
and the planet will heal itself. She is already paving the way for
this healing.
Pay attention to how you live your life. Do you respect all living
things? Do you honour your Creatrix with every action and thought? Have you eliminated hatred, judgment, and prejudice
from your life?
Are you walking your talk and talking your walk? Are you
participating fully in the human experience and sharing your gifts
with all other people?
Do you live your life in a sacred manner? The message from
Goddess to the world is the same now as when it was first given
to me twenty years ago: "Live life in a sacred manner or die."
Tell people what you know. Share your faith, knowledge, and
strength with those in your circle. Stay connected to those who
are working hard to improve the planet and life for all people.
Remember: love is the strongest power in the universe.
Exemplify love on all levels of your being. Send love to those who
oppress the weak. Pray for the planet; pray for every living thing.
Your rewards will be great both on Earth and with the Goddess.

Wow Mystique, I'm speechless. Something tells me that now that I've read this I'm going to be doing some serious thinking and making some changes in the way I have been living my life. Thank you for posting this wonderful "Letter From The Goddess & The Planet".

You are so right Mystique.

I've started cleaning up my life, when I found Wicca. However I have to "trim the fat" on a lot of things in my life yet.

Many people say it's such a shame that cancer and all those other diseases litter the earth. They donate all the money to find a cure. But the "cure" will never come until we banish our negative ways from society. This is everyone's fault. Thus everyone must work to clean this planet up.

The natural path of Gaia is probably not to the hospital. seems to me she started out with "what the hell are these little things all over my body"???

Then, she let them die because they bothered her. Eventually, she probably learned to think tom cruise was cute. And debated whether or not she liked him because he was too cocky. Anyway, since the days of the horned one, people have learned to appreciate Gaia.

And the laws of cyclic return show a logical return to the paradise earth we desperately hope is possible, but always pretend isn't. Because we don't want to be the foool.

Maybe something in your universal medicine wheel has proven to be incorrect and you have exaggerated the error to be something completely more dramatic than it really is, just like the planet and her ticks. Are you afraid to be wrong?

The creatrix, I have never lived in the creatrix, do I believe eternal life is possible without having to apply to the government for it ? why would I care, why would I focus on elevating you, the reader's energy?

I realize there is ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION between the constellation cancer and the cellular disorder called by the same name. I am sure of this because I know nothing about metaphysics. It is an illogical assumption and Dr. Bombay would never get it.

If I were your doctor, I would recommend you ignore the bad in life and create more of the good.

Mystique, that made me cry. All of the things you said are true......My greatest fear is coming to life: the destruction of the Earth by human hands. I cannot bear it. I cannot bear the thought of our Great Mother weeping in sorrow because of all that we have done, are doing, will do if we don't learn to love and respect this good Earth again.... I am often ashamed to be human.

That is definitely one that begs to be sent to your local paper. Very profound.

You say we humans are an intregal part of the circle of life? I'm sorry, but I laugh at that. We do nothing but leech off this planet. Humans are worthless.

I feel the same way. But then why did The God and Goddess make us? Why does humanity exist if all we do is defile everything? I have always believed that all things have a part to play in nature, that all things have a reason. So what is our part, our reason?

You ask why do we exist..And I say- because life is not a straight line.. It is an ever turning circle.. Just when you think thinks are okay...they turn...forever.. That's why they made us... To teach us what needs to be taught, so we can be better beings in next lives...

to one that has seen the heart of the earth .. the heart of gaia. still feel it. i understand and agree. those of us that do understand hopefully will set a better example. modern technology doesnt need to be harmful. there are other ways. there is a place for the old ways as well as the new ways.

modern medicine has its place as does naturopathic medicine and the old healing methods. if we could strive for compassion and understanding maybe carve some small nitch in the thick of it all.

i have four beautiful daughters and i have taught them to respect mother nature and her inhabitants, even though we are all carnivores. we respect that which hasnt become dinner. gardening in a resposible manner. my children are my arrows and hopefully my little condition will spread through my descendants.

an old saying .if you cant kill them to extinction. breed them out. :) ( jk)

I see all too often people that seem to think humans are a disease to the planet. I do not know if some humans hold this belief because they are trying to be more respectful to the Earth?

It is true that the planet would exist without ye little buggers but, would she appreciate the absence of colorful and witty people?

Don't you think she keeps people around for some form of entertainment value?

Life is a progressive circle to a higher vibration (light). As the people ascend, so do Earth. Often, people try to get as high as they can without taking steps to make sure the lowest people are ascending to, this only holds the ones at the top down.

there is an old proverb. you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him drink.

sure you can ascend and take some folks with you. will they drink though. you cant infringe on their free will. understanding comes to folks at differing rates. so everyone cant ascend at the same time.

besides can you imagine the air traffic controller with that sort of mass ascension. ~ negative ghost rider. the pattern is full. ~ .

While I agree with what you said in principal (people DEFFINATELY need to take steps in the right direction)

I however, cannot believe that that which we call the Divine/God/Goddess, could send a "plague" down upon us. That's one of the primary reasons I believe what I do, I cannot accept that an "all-loving" Divine power would even attempt to wipe us out... I cannot/will not honor anyone, even the Divine, that says "You do things this way, or you suffer/perish"

You put into words my thoughts and feelings exactly mystique. I don't think people realize the spiritual fulfillment attained when they become one with the earth and help heal and nuture her. I'm currently having a hard time with this subject as I am moving in with my parents for 6 months while my Husband goes to the desert. The hard part is they live a totally harmonious life where they are, 20 acres of forest in Northern Wisconsin, giving back as much as they take in every action. It's difficult to leave that and feel satisfied with simple recycling, gardening, and reusuing.
I have to tell mysellf I'm doing all I'm allowed ( I live on a military base and we have a ton of housing rules!), and for now, I HAVE to be happy and content with that, for the most part I am.

The wheel keeps turning and turning, a fatalistic point of view is very artistic, but at some point it is no longer original.

The soul can ascend into light without changing it's name. Light cities and crystal cities. The soul moves to the astral plane. So many people choose to direct energy towards coffins instead of towards the light.

As if we do not understand death, it is life we have yet to master.

While I agree with the basic message, that Earth needs to be cared for and respected, and that humankind is failing in this quite miserably, I believe that Mother is quite capable, and will simply turn the cycle wheel if needed to get balance restored, even if that means many of our species must go back into the primordial soup (so to speak)for a second time around, physically speaking. As spirit, we will pay heavy Karma.

On the other hand I do believe this:

"You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here." (from Desiderata)

Until the Mother herself says we have not the right to be here, I will still consider this true.

BTW, I also have been around for quite some time this lifetime, and seen much.:)
