I am so mad!

I just found out that a good friend of mine was the victim of a hate crime. They painted swastikas all over his house, and tacked an essay to the door about how evil he is because he is Jewish. I am livid! Some people just disgust me!

OMFG! What is wrong with people???? Ya know, sometimes I just don't understand how much of a loser do you have to be and how little you must have in your own life that your focus is on doing nothing productive with your time but slamming someone else? I mean, good lord, argghhhh!

Similar things happened to my brother and his husband because, obviously, they're gay. They installed an inexpensive surveillance system and put a sign in the window letting people know that the system is there. They haven't had a problem since then because the cowards that do things like hate motivated vandalism prefer to be anonymous, not captured on film and held responsible for their ignorance. Maybe your friend could get a similar system.

I have come to accept that some people in this world were born stupid and ignorant. They are so narrowminded that you could not fit a single toothpick in between the vast gaps in their brain. It usually starts as a prank too, and turn into something worse. Sadly what is usually started by a smart and knowledgable person as a prank turns into a sad and pointless exercise by the person that is dumb as a brick. I don't know if they're born stupid and ignorant. That's generally something taught to them by stupid and ignorant parents. Fortunately, not everyone takes after my parents--my paternal grandfather can be quite racist but my father is very accepting and open-minded.

I hope these rednecks are brought to justice quickly. That is just disgusting that they would even conceive of doing something such as that.

That is an absolutely disgusting, cowardly act. I hope your friend doesn't take such a feral thing to heart, Jews have beautiful beliefs and the sooner the whole world realises this, the better. I hope he can get through this ok and I really, really hope those people/ that person is caught. What a disgusting thing to do!
