Last night we had a sparrow get stuck in our sunroom. My sons caught it and put it in a container for the night due to the cold and the fact sparrows are not nocturnal. This morning the sparrow got loose in my bedroom. My eldest son is attempting to capture the bird. So far with no success at all and the bird is a riot. He hopped out from behind the curtain earlier on top of my son's back looked about and flew off. For the last thirty minutes the two of them have been at this. Bird 15 boy 0.

That sounds like it must be fun to watch...
Can you open the windows in the sunroom, and maybe the bird will fly out on its own?

Looks like that sparrow is smarter than the crow that got stuck in our garage once... It knocked itself out by crashing into a window a few times. Finally we had to catch it and let it out.

I remember one year when my parents was out on vacation and their room was locked. I went in there one day to check if everything was ok, and there was a bat flying around in there!
I don't know how it got in there but it would hang upside down behind one of the dressers on a nail. I finally caught it and let it out.

We finally caught it and Jack the Sparrow is flying free but it was great entertainment to watch my son trying to catch him.

We used to get birds in our house every once in a while when I was younger and I was the one who ended up catching them and letting them out! They would get in through the fireplace.
