i've been here for a pretty long time, and i've never 'properly' intoduced myself!! most of you know alot of me by now by reading my posts throughout the board. but here are some more tid-bits.

i am 12 years old, a girl, and live in a small town in michigan. i am in no way popular at school, and i do not want to be. 'popular' girls are loved only but the guys. i do not know of love, i have only had little crushes on boys i hardly know. where i live you cannot be best friends with a boy, because if you spend too much time with him you are automatically 'going out'. where girl/boyfriends go, i have no idea. i would really like to be home schooled, that would be cool. :)

i like nature and animals. i am a vegetarian (i actually SPELLED it right!! :D) and do not eat eggs, either. i enjoy looking at art, reading fantasy, sci-fi, and general fiction novels. i like to play soccer, all other sports do not appeal to me at all. :) umm... frogs are my FAVEORITE animal, they are fast, smooth, and beautiful.

music is important to me. i like all kinds: pop, rock, hip-hop, rap, alternative, and even some classical. it all depends on my mood. i play the flute, just started this summer, and i'm pretty good! :D LOL!

i worry about my future a lot. i am trying to figure out what i want to be when i grow up. i'm not sure if i want to get married, or have kids, the world is already over populated as it is. :D

i think that's all i have to say.... just ask if you have any questions.

Welcome Willowfairy!

I'm from MI too! I live in the Mid-Michigan area, about an hour from Grand Rapids.

I remember how hard it was being 12, though I'm long past that age now! I have a 9 year old son. :D

I think almost every female here can relate to the boy thing! ;)

I hope you feel at home here at MW. :shift:

Beware my son Chomper he is 12 and has just discovered girls. I think from what I have read of your posts that you are a very mature young lady and will do fine in whatever path you chosse for your future.

As often stated here, age is no indication of maturity. I love reading your posts & your insights.
