I plan on getting a hematite pendent that I'm buying from Windigo and would love to know how I can recharge the stone..

My personal choice is running water. Also leave under the moon for a night or bury in sea salt.

i would not use water on hematite. it can lessen the shine of the stone, or the stones might take rust.
instead get hematite tumbled stones or a chunk of pyrite . place it on a window sill during new moon/full moon and 4 hrs during daytime (preferably sunshine)

I also tend to cleanse it in earth as well as a quick dash under water. ( not for any lenght of time) also you can almost cleanse any stone on an amethyst bed. For charging ( more on topic..oops) I use in moon or sun, depending on the energy I want or I will sit with it and charge it myself, picturing white light entering my body from the earth and stars and coming out of my hands, especially if I want to charge it for a specific purpose.
