Bright Blessings to all...
Lately, whenever I give myself a tarot card reading, especially the Horseshoe Spread... in the 4th postion I always get the Ten of Pentacles (R)...
Now, it is my understanding that this card signifies restriction, financial misfortune, and sometimes retirement... but if my question was primarily one dealing with the soul and spirit... what would this card be saying? I would appreciate any help with this, as I am quite confused and puzzled.
ALSO... Has anyone ever had duplicate cards in their tarot deck... ????? My deck has 2 Eight of Wands... I discovered this from a Romany Spread I did, where they both showed up in one row... BOTH reversed!!!

Yes, I have 2 strength cards in my Wheel of Change deck. That card is also my favourite one & the one I connect the most with. I carry the extra card with me as a bookmarker.

The card could signify those things (and probably does in the book). However, I suggest you meditate on that card for awhile (even a few days) to see what hidden message it might be conveying. :)

Also remember that Pentacles are stability and prosperity, and 10's are the completion of one cycle that will lead to the beginning of another. These meanings do not change regardless of orientation. I agree with Willow, take some time to think about all the possiblities. Is there some symbology on the card that draws your particular attention? ....something that just "nags" at you? The answer may lie there.

I agree! ~ maybe you need to delve deeper and try to connect with this card ~ what does it look like? Are they happy in the picture? What does the picture make you feel or think of when you look at it? In my picture decks I always see a happy loving family filled with joy.. but yours might be different...
The 8 of wands is also a great card in my opinion! & brilliant to get two of them :) I agree with WildChild too ~ maybe this is a message for you?

I took a look at my 10 of Pents from my Moon Garden and Unicorn decks.
In the Moon Garden deck the 10 of pents show's a man and woman riding a pegasus under a gate towards their castle under a waxing moon with 10 pentacle balloons floating in the sky. As you can imagine, to me this signifies completion and happiness - the "happy ending" to the story.
In my Unicorn deck it shows a man and woman embracing with their baby on the lap of his grandfather, and a baby unicorn trotting by. Again, to me this means completion, happiness, and also family and love.
So, I agree with what the others have said here. Rely on your own intuition and interpretation of the card for your answer :)

In my shapeshifter deck I found 3 Goddess of Earth cards. I used the extra two as bookmarks.
