odd experience

I was meditating today, when I had an experience I haven't had before. It felt as if a sudden burst of electricity ran through my body. I jolted awake, or so I thought, but I wasn't awake, rather, I felt like I was disconnected and looking down upon myself. (It wasn't quite looking down, more like, I was looking at myself from all angles)
When I exhaled, I could see yellow and blue, along with a misty sort of white color. It looked like fog. After some period of time (I have no idea how much time passed), I felt another jolt, and woke up.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm, sounds like you somehow pulled of astral projection.

I'm not really an expert on this kind of stuff, so I won't say anything more. Your experience sounds very interesting though.

That's kind of what I was thinking may have happened. It didn't seem very vision like. Does anyone know if the colors yellow and blue have any special significance?

Yellow or gold is usually associated with the solar energy and fire, God/masculine attributes, strength, courage.

Blue is usually associated with Goddess/feminine attributes or water energy, health, protection, meditation, emotions.

I really should have know that! *oops* Brain fart, I guess. 8O

I was meditating trying to find out what gods or goddess may be calling out to me. Are any particular dieties associated with those colors? No names came to me, so, I really don't know if it was anyone specific, or if it was even related to my meditation.
(the answer's probably staring me right in the face. So close, I can't see it!) :bug:

i would say the answer is - What Goddess and God do *you* feel it is?

A suggestion - it is important to remember to visualize the slender silver thread connecting your being on the astral plane to your body on the physical plane.... rather like an umbilical cord... so that you always know the way back in case something sudden or unexpected happens on either plane. The silver thread is infinite and can go with you wherever you go on the astral plane... but it's important to remember to remind yourself that it is there. bb talamh
