Who else has contacted their Spirit Guides?

I was just wondering if anyone else had contacted their spirit guides!? I have 2 and to say the least their quite the bunch. They are twin brothers and they squabble all the time(in good nature).

I have two too, but I think one's a lizard, and another's a large female mammal which i can't quite figure out yet. I thought it may be a wolf, but it just didn't *feel* right, if ya know what I mean. A blue whale, maybe?!?!?!....

I've got quite a few that can ultimately be broken down into a few different categories.

There are my spiritual parents who adopted me, the Silver Phoenix and the Golden Dragon.

There are my teachers who reside in my 'sacred place' and call to me as much as I call to them. They are a female stone naga (in roughly humanoid shape), the lady of the pond, and a sylph.

And then there are my constant companions that are always with me who at the moment don't want me to give out their names or information. Heh heh.

Well, I have my frist, my big black snake. I also have a deer, a doe. A quiet little girl who just seems to like to watch me. I don't know much about her.

As I said I have 2 of them. One is much more dominant than the other. They love to be talked to and about . they've got quite the egos. The most active one's name is Damien and he is 25 yrs. old. He is a trickster. He likes hiding things on me , then he tells me where they are and has a good laugh after much frustrating searching.But I don't mind . He's the funest person I know. My 2nd one's name is Dakota he is also 25. He's more into the sensative matters. He's the guy you talk to with emotinal matters.
He's a real ladies man.

I have many who come and go relating to what is going on in my life. But I have one woman who I trust probably more then all the others. She is the one I listen to the most, she is a complete angel to me. I also have a male from a Celtic past life who I dated (and wow, he's still a hottie!) he comes around quite frequently as well. But I noticed he tends to get jealous in love matters so I don't go to him for help in that area!

But I think getting to know my spirit guides is a wonderful gift.

What you think are your Spirit Guides may in fact be other spirits misleading you.

If they've told you things about yourself you think no one else could know - that doesn't prove they are your guide.

Spirits can read your mind, and also look into your past, and are only too eager to pretend to be someone else for the attention they'll get.

And some will use your openness to them, to feed off your energy. So if you feel drained, or uncomfortable that's a red flag that something is wrong.

So be wary.

I have more than one hehe. . . hmm the two major ones are both big cats. One's a Puma (mountain lion) and the other's a Sabre Tooth. 8O I'm a kitty person. Puma is the one I get my nickname from hehe. . . I've always just been drawn to mountain lions, in the back of my mind. And I've ALWAYS called them puma instead of "mountain lion" or "cougar."
The sabre tooth found me on a hike in the rockies. To me, he looks like a tiny orange and cream striped kitten. . . . when I'm threatened or to others, he looks like a HUGE sabre tooth. I don't know his name yet ^_^;

I for a long time had just one spirit guide... no, I guess that's still true. I used to get a lot of guidance from passing spirits, but one spirit just sort of hung around more and more often and just felt like a friend. We don't talk much and when we do it's sort of casual, not like "guidance" I get from other spirits or meditation. I always kept a stuffed animal of a bunny around me ever since I was little, so when we decided he (the spirit) would stick around, it seemed natural to let the stuffed bunny sort of be his spiritual "house". We get along really well and I do sort of consider him my spirit guide as he's always there for help if I need it or to send energy if someone else needs it, but he's really more like a spirit friend than anything. I recently got married though and he seems to be drawing away from me. Do you suppose it's because he might be upset or because he's giving me newlywed space? He won't really give me a straight answer.

There was also this spirit that struck me as being a kitten. (My first experience with an animal's spirit!) My spirit guide and I were guarded at first, but the kitten proved its self as not being threatening and so comes by every so often. His/Her (not sure yet) "house" is a teddy bear. I call the teddy "Kittie" in the kitten's honor. :)

I have only one - that I know of - and really, he's all I've ever needed. He's been with me my whole life. His name is Matthew. He used to comfort me when I was a child growing up in a violent home. He's been with me in my best and worst of times. He's my protector, comforter, friend, confidant, and companion. I couldn't imagine my life without Matthew. He's too diverse to even describe. He just *is*.

I actually have 4 myself,

The first one is a wolf who came to me when i first started studying Wicca 5 years ago. The second one is a Raven->might say the Raven is my astral "scout". The third one I have is the Phoenix, and the fourth one is actually the trickster(must be related to Loki somehow) An Elf that sorta "clung" to me when I was at a Pagan festival in May 2000. She likes to hide stuff from me all the time. Keys, Money, Wallet.....almost anything you can think of.

I have had several guides pass in and out of my life - not to mention angels which are completley different. One who is around on a regular basis is a spirit I was incarnated with in a past life - he was my twin brother named Daniel - but who chose to remain on the astral planes this time round.

I have also had an older gentleman who seemed almost angelic, but not an angel, named Joseph, contact me several years ago who was there to assist me to find someone I was looking for - I still haven't found them, and am not actively looking right now, so I feel he has moved on for the moment, but he might be back when I choose to take up the search again :)

I have other guides around me that I don't really know, but *feel* - and my angels, which are different, and my totems, which are again different, in my view. :)
