I'm a huge fan of reality shows, but Survivor in general. I can't wait till october 11th.

Anyone here a Survivor Addict?

not really, I personally do not like Survivor. BEcause it is not really surviving at all. Okay so they eat a few bugs... Have to build their own tents... But what happens when they like hurt themselves? They get flown by helicopter to a hospital. I know that you cant let someone get hurt, but truthfully why call it survivor then?

I loved the first survivor. The nudity of fat, gay men appeals to me :bug: The second was all right. I think they should have the fourth in someplace cold! Like Cochrane... And I will so wathc #3! Its in Africa, right?

I have never seen survivor, since I live in sweden... however I belive that survivor is based upon the swedish show Expedition Robinson and I just love that show, so I can pretty much guess that Survivor is great show too. :D

i am probably one of the few people in North America who has never watched Survivor.... Having worked in tv for so many years, i pulled the plug as soon as i no longer *had* to watch it and i don't miss it one little bit. When i happen to see it now in a waiting room or someone's house, i am astonished at how utterly vapid and completely without redeeming social content most of it is.

But then.. that's what a lot of people say about the Net... grin. bb talamh

I liked the first one, but the second one sort of lost its edge a little, maybe because it's no longer new and we've been bombarded with reality shows since its debut. I'll still watch the third, as long as it doesn't interfere with my other favorite shows. :D

Whatever. The only thing those people have to survive is the politics of an ever-shrinking clique. That show is SO high school it isn't even funny. "Reality" TV is the fakest of all. At least other shows are honest in their insincerity.

Hehe definatly if you can survive Cochrane..... your good to go.
However we are having unusually warm weather recently.... I expected snow by now..heh

Ditto. I have to listen to enough of that stuff in real life let alone watching a show about it. Eat bugs? Build tents? Pfft. I think Mist was right. If you're going to call it Survivor make it life threatening, not highschool.
